🌶️ Meet Chilli 🌶️ 9-year-old | Female | Shih-Tzu Mix If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Chilli might be your perfect match. This lovable little lady is a true shadow dog — always following her favorite person around and making it very clear when she’s ready for hugs, cuddles, or to be picked up (her signature move is gently scratching at your legs to ask!). Chilli is currently thriving in a foster home with young children and a cat, and she’s been wonderful with both. She’s friendly and relaxed when meeting strangers, whether inside the home or out and about, and she loves when people stop to pet her. She’s got great house manners too! Chilli is housebroken, crate trained, and great on leash — no pulling here, although she will bark at other dogs when she sees them. At night, she happily walks into her crate on her own when told “go to sleep.” She knows stay, drop it, come, and is working on sit (she understands it… she just doesn’t always feel like holding it — fair enough!). Chilli’s favorite things include: Sleeping (expert-level napper) Being held or sitting on laps Cuddle time (lots of it!) Walks and playing chase Meeting people and soaking up attention She’s very relaxed overall and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she loves being out with her people rather than crated frequently. One thing to note: Chilli is not into dog toys at all — but towels, beds, paper, boxes, or anything left on the floor? Those are her true treasures. Because of this, she’d do best in a home without very young kids who tend to leave toys around. Chilli hasn’t been tested with other dogs yet, but she’s open to meeting one during a proper meet-and-greet. Her foster will miss her deeply — especially her cuddles, her tenderness, and the quiet way she fills a home with love. Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. Bear is an adorable male Shih Tzu/Lhasa Terrier mix with a DOB of approximately 12/17/25. This sweet boy had a rough start — he, his parents and his brother were sadly left behind when their owner moved away. Unfortunately, his brother passed away before being transported to our rescue. Thankfully, Bear's wonderful mama, Lola, has taken amazing care of him every step of the way. Now Bear is ready to find his very own forever family! He is a playful, curious little guy who loves exploring the world around him. Whether he’s investigating new toys or bouncing around during playtime, Bear brings joy wherever he goes. Story

Dusty is an adorable 3-year-old special needs Shih Tzu. He was abandoned in our lobby by his owner, without saying a word. He was so confused as to what was going on, but he slowly began to trust. Dusty was so heavily matted we could barely see him, but when the veterinarians shaved his fur, they noticed his left eye had glaucoma. His eye was removed and he is recovering in his foster home. Missing one eye has not slowed him down. He is very inquisitive of everything around him. This poor guy needs a stable and patient home where he can learn that people are good and he’s going to be taken care of forever.
