At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.

Hi, my name is Sissy. My birthday is in June 2018. I am a breeder release dog. I am a beautiful light brown and my fur is so soft. I am learning a lot at my foster mom's house. Scratches are so nice. I'm learning my name, I'm doing pretty good at potty training too. I get along with dogs and there's a big foster dog here. My little tongue sticks out some and it has a little split in it. My foster mom just thinks that is so cute, I have a lot to learn, but I do enjoy scratches. I'm not just a pet, I'm family. Baxter won’t be winning any races, but he is sure to win your heart. Baxter came to us unable to walk. He has worked hard and with the help of cold laser therapy and the staff at Tomahawk Animal Hospital, Baxter can now stand and take steps. Baxter would LOVE a home with another dog to play with. He loves playing. We are looking for a special home that will embrace Baxter’s uniqueness. He is 8-10 years old and 17 lbs., a little shaggy mix.
