Hi, I'm Barney! Ever wondered how a charming senior like me ended up in foster? Well, I once decided to follow my nose on an epic adventure. Turns out, I'm not as spry as I used to be, and I lost my way back! But here I am, heart murmur and all, still the king of cuddles and goofy grins. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my boundless love and maybe chase a squirrel or two (or just dream about it from a comfy couch). Adopt me for a lifetime of laughs and loyalty! Barney is a senior Shih Tzu. He is very sweet and potty trained and does great with dogs and cats and kids of all ages. This sweet boy is struggling with some skin issues that he came in with and was diagnosed with a grade 2 heart murmur when he was neutered on intake. On the up side, I do pretty good on a leash, I am crate trained and puppy pad trained, I love also go outside to potty. Meet Rafferty. While we are not certain of his breed we do know that he is sweet as can be. He is thought to be about 1 year old and he weighs 18 pounds. Rafferty loves to cuddle but is also up for some play time; a romp around the yard, a good toy to chew or he will roll around with another pup.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
