I’ve had benji since he was 8 weeks old. I have a one year old that he is not a fan of. The child constantly chases him and he hates it and spends most of his time trying to hide from him. A few months back the dog was sleeping and my child grabbed his face and he (not seriously) bit him. He has skin and ear infection history. He’s very laid back, doesn’t bark or get excited and mainly sleeps. He likes to cuddle. He’s low energy so doesn’t need a lot of activity or regular walking. Big dogs scare him. He would do great in a calm, child free environment.

Story
Rafferty is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. He is happy all of the time. Rafferty loves new people of all ages; enjoying all the scratches and affection they can bestow on him. He also gets along great with other dogs and will run and play. (Video attached) . Rafferty is estimated to be about a year old and weighs just 18 pounds.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. I am a huge snuggle bug and just want a forever home for me and my sister, I am more withdrawn that my sister Ashley but that's because I learned at a younger age you can't always trust people. On the up side, I do pretty good on a leash, I am crate trained and puppy pad trained, I love also go outside to potty.
