Story
Meet Daisy! Daisy is a precious little 2.5-month-old, 3 pound female "Daisy Dog" - a delightful blend of Bichon, ShihTzu, and Poodle. Daisy is bursting with adorable puppy energy and enthusiasm for life. She loves to romp around the house and play with her toys. She’s already started to learn how to play tug-o-war. When she gets all worn out, she loves to cuddle up with her person and get all snuggly with a long nap. Daisy isn’t fully crate trained yet but she does sleep quietly through the night in her puppy pen. A consistent routine will help with house training. She gets along well with dogs, cats, kids-she loves everyone and they love her! If this affectionate little fluff ball sounds like the perfect addition to your family, apply today! Daisy is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Quinn! Quinn's story is one of resilience, healing, and unconditional love. She was found abandoned on the streets alongside her sister in heartbreaking condition. Severely neglected, Quinn was covered in painful mats, suffering from extensive hair loss caused by poor nutrition and flea infestation, and struggling with serious eye issues that had gone untreated for far too long. Since coming into rescue, Quinn has received extensive veterinary care and has been under the supervision of a local veterinary ophthalmology specialist. After numerous tests, treatments, and medications, we now know that Quinn has severe chronic dry eye, a condition common in her breed. Unfortunately, this has resulted in significant scarring of both corneas. The good news is that Quinn's right eye is responding well to treatment, and with lifelong medical management, her vision can likely be preserved. Her left eye has faced additional challenges, including a corneal ulcer and infection, but after completing her course of antibiotics and ongoing care, she has shown remarkable improvement. Despite everything she has endured, Quinn remains one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet. She is calm, gentle, affectionate, and happiest when curled up in your lap. Quinn is not a barker, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has an easygoing, laid-back personality that makes her a joy to have around. Quinn is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention and Bravecto flea and tick prevention. We have not yet tested Quinn with cats or children, so those situations are currently unknown. Adoption Fee: $400 To apply for Quinn, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Quinn is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 6:46 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there… I’m Butterscotch I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I’m pretty much the definition of a good dog. I’m house trained, quiet, calm, and happiest when I’m curled up in a warm lap. I have a gentle, submissive nature and an easygoing personality—I just want to love and be loved. I came into rescue as a stray, very pregnant and needing help. Not long after, I welcomed three beautiful puppies into the world and devoted myself to being the best mama I could be. Now that they’re growing up and finding their own paths, it’s finally my turn to find a family to call my own. I’m a Shih Tzu with a soft heart and a sweet soul. I settle in easily, enjoy being around people, and love feeling like part of whatever you’re doing. Whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a little ride alongside you, I’m just happy to be near my person. I do need regular grooming to keep my coat healthy and tangle-free—but I promise I’ll sit sweetly for it. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and 4DX negative. I’m also microchipped. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will be your loyal little shadow, I’m right here waiting. Adoption fee: $500 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org I’m currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio, Kentucky, and along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee (please note: transport is not available to Rhode Island or Massachusetts).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 6:46 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey, I’m Danielle! I’m a Havanese/Poodle mix born around 3/11/2026, and I’m officially looking for my own people. A nice couple found me and my little family near a busy highway after we’d clearly been struggling for a while. We were covered in fleas and ticks, skinny, hungry, and sadly one of my siblings didn’t make it. Luckily, rescue stepped in and now things are looking a whole lot better for me. These days I’m doing what puppies do best — playing with toys, zooming around, and acting like everything is exciting because honestly… it is. I’ll need basic puppy training and regular grooming to keep my fluffy coat looking good, but I promise I’m worth it. I’m fixed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $500. To apply, visit www.adoggie4you.org I'm in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast. If transport is needed, an additional fee of $225 will apply. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dixie!  I’m a sweet, gentle girl who came to rescue with my little family after we were found along the highway. I spent my days raising my two puppies and making sure they were safe, and now that they’re growing up, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. The people here say I have a way of winning hearts the moment you meet me. I’m calm, quiet, and easy to love. I am a lap girl. I want to be by you at all times, and just chill and hangout. I’m not much of a barker, and I get along wonderfully with all the other dogs I’ve met. I still have some things to learn about living inside a home, but I do seem to understand how to use a doggie door already. No one is quite sure yet how I do with kids or cats, but everyone agrees that I have a very gentle, loving demeanor. I’m already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, so I’m all ready for my next adventure. I do have a low grade heart murmur. I tested negative for Chagas, and did well under anesthesia. Sometimes heart murmurs can go away, but it's something to be aware of. My adoption fee is $500 please apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Right now I’m in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee.
