Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Camper and Carlie are the sweetest pair ever! Carlie LOVES to give attention and so affectionate! She loves to follow her people and then jump up for attention! Callie and Molly are the sweetest girls ever!! Molly LOVES to play and run around and both love to soak up attention. Molly is 7 and Callie is 4 :) They both get along with other dogs and dose not seem to mind cats. Archie is a fun-loving, attention-seeking guy who truly shines when he’s with his people. His favorite thing in the world is a good game of fetch—if you’ve got a ball, you’ve got his full attention. While he’s not overly interested in playing with other dogs, he does enjoy having a canine companion nearby for comfort when his humans are away. Because of his personality, Archie will need a home with a fenced-in yard and another dog to keep him company. Oreo came from Puerto Rico to here in Pennsylvania. He came here Potty trained with pads. He just turned 8 years old with his birthday in May. We are looking for someone who has experience within dogs like him who would understand his needs as he is an adult dog. He is good with cats and other dogs and he is good with kids, he loves kids. Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be.
