My name is Ferris — a handsome seal-point Siamese mix with charming snowshoe feet and a voice you’ll never forget. For a long time, I wandered a neighborhood alone. It seemed my family had moved away and simply left me behind. I waited. I hoped. But no one came back for me. Then a kindhearted woman noticed me. She saw past the loneliness and took me in, giving me safety and love until a space opened at Animal Ark. I’ll always be grateful for that. Everyone who meets me says the same thing: I’m friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully talkative. What can I say? I’m part Siamese — we’re known for having opinions, and I’ve got plenty to share. I’ll chat with you about your day, your dinner, your dreams… I just love being part of the conversation. When I arrived at the shelter, I was tested for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. My results came back positive for both FIV and feline leukemia. It sounds scary, but many cats like me live long, happy, love-filled lives. I just need to be the only cat in my home — which means you get all my affection, all my purrs, and all my stories. I’d be an ideal candidate for a foster home. Animal Ark provides everything I need — food, litter, medication, supplies — and you provide the one thing I want most: a safe, loving place to belong. Honey Bear is young (1-2 years), blond, lean and lanky, with eyes that look deeply into yours, and who savors human interaction This fellow was a very hungry stray being fed for several weeks until he was successfully live-trapped. It was obvious he’d been outside for a while. Initially timid, he has now established deep trust in his caregiver and savors gentle human contact. Honey Bear has enjoyed living in his own upstairs room which has become his safe place. One of his favorite things to do is gaze out his windows to safely watch any outdoor action. He definitely enjoys looking, but does not want to be an outdoor kitty – way too scary for him. And he loves being toasty and warm. Since he is now ready to expand his horizons, he has been slowly exploring the house he lives in. Watching Honey Bear discover and play with toys, experience new environments, and watch his confidence and imagination grow has been rewarding. Because being indoors is new to him, a gradual introduction and his own safe room will be a necessity until he gains confidence in his new home. An adult-only home with adopters who are experienced with timid cats and can offer the patience required while he develops trust will be the best fit for this gentle and loving boy. Another gentle cat who can be a good playmate and appropriate buddy might be a great addition later. Honey Bear is simply looking for a forever home where he can be loved and return that love in full. And, yes, he sings “I am Siamese if you please…I am Siamese if you don’t please…..” HoneyBear is in foster care. Chaandi is a young cat we found in our backyard. We took her in in hopes that we would keep her, but our older cat is not too fond of her. She is up to date on her shots but has NOT yet been spayed! She does NOT have any special needs, diets, or health issues. She is very friendly, cuddly, and vocal, and loves to sleep with her humans. Not to mention that she's the best biscuit maker in town (and you her dough!). She gets along with other cats, is very playful, and has a lot of young kitty energy! We would love to keep her, but unfortunately that will not work out for our family. We would very much love for her to go to a good home.

Meet Diddy! 🐾 Diddy is a handsome Siamese Lynx Point boy with a sweet personality and a very special story. In 2024, Diddy broke his leg, and although he has some residual damage, he certainly doesn’t let it slow him down! He still uses that leg and doesn’t seem to realize he’s technically a three-legged cat. 😊 Diddy is a very skittish and cautious cat, especially when he first meets someone. He needs time, patience, and a safe environment where he can settle in at his own pace. Having places to hide is important to him, and once he gets comfortable and learns to trust you, his loving personality really comes out. He is a genuinely sweet boy who enjoys affection from people he knows. Diddy would do best in a quiet, understanding home with no small children. Older children and adults would be a better fit. He would also do best either with other friendly cats or in a home where he has plenty of companionship and safe places to retreat. No big dogs. He may be able to live with a small, calm dog, but a dog-free home may be the easiest fit for him. Because Diddy is so fearful, he has not yet been able to receive all of his vaccinations. A recent attempt at the vet was especially stressful for him, so his future family will need to be patient and work with him gently when veterinary care is needed. Diddy could be happy as an indoor house cat or even a shop kitty, provided he has a secure environment and plenty of places where he can hide and feel safe. He may take some time to trust you, but once he does, you'll discover what a loving and special guy he really is. ❤️
