Murietta came from a hoarder’s house. The house was so crowded with stuff and other cats that Murietta was forced to find a place to call her own - the rafters. It’s been years since Murietta was rescued from that hoarder’s house but the horrors she lived through are fresh in her head. Years later, she still prefers the rafters. She likes to be up high. Her tower is her security. Murietta doesn’t live completely in her castle in the clouds. When she does venture down to earth, she loves to curl up with her friend Scrappy. Scrappy is very similar in purrsonality to Murietta. He hasn’t been convinced that he needs to interact with humans. Both Murietta and Scrappy are sweet cats. There’s not a bad bone in their bodies. They just prefer cats to humans. Their adopter needs to appreciate their preferences. Murietta is very bonded to her friend Scrappy. She must be adopted with him. Svetlana is playful, loving, and completely adorable. She’s a true snugglebug who loves curling up with her person, happily making biscuits while soaking up affection. When she’s not cuddling, she’s busy entertaining herself with life’s simple joys—folded socks, strings, and boxes are her favorite toys. She has a hilarious “hunter” streak and proudly stalks dish towels from the kitchen, delivering her prizes straight to her chosen human like a gift of love. Svetlana is very curious about the outdoors and would love to explore, but she’s kept safely inside since she lives on a busy street and her people love her far too much to take any chances. Svetlana does have a skin condition that she takes medication for, and she handles it like a champ. With her care routine, she’s comfortable and happy. Sweet, silly, and full of personality, Svetlana has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet her.

He was a little apprehensive when he arrived but has settled in great and is going to be a love bug and wonderful companion for some lucky soul. Oakley has been doing well getting to know his room mates but we've noticed he's not taken to anyone in particular and tends to nap and play by himself. He's only been with us for a short time so this may change as he continues to explore and socialize within his designated room. We mention this singleton behavior as a positive, rather than a negative. If you are looking for a single cat to become a member of your home and family - he would be great! Older children for Oakley is recommended as he does have that independent trait and young children don't always understand how to respect an independent cat's need for space. Oakley has an approx. Meet Johnny Come Lately, a handsome little Siamese boy, rescued from a trailer park and ready for a new start! Despite his rough beginnings, he’s full of love and charm. He’s a playful little guy who enjoys toys, attention, and making friends with everyone he meets. Once he knows you, he’ll happily follow you around for cuddles and playtime. This affectionate sweetheart is proof that big hearts can come in small, furry packages!
