Story
Francis is a sweet, affectionate, 4-month-old lilac point Siamese who loves to play, snuggle with other kittens, and occasionally snuggle with people. This adorable little guy loves to suckle on fuzzy blankets as if nursing, since he was found away from his mother at 6 weeks old. He also loves to play with stringy wand toys. He is a pretty chill kitten, content to spend his time relaxing, but equally up for playing if there are toys or other kittens around. He and his very busy six siblings, the “Top Secret” kittens, are great buddies and playmates. Francis lives with seven other kittens in the large primary bedroom of a house with his foster parents. The kittens have tested positive for a disease called feline leukemia virus. They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Francis cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Francis and his siblings maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmuFrancis will need to go home with one (or more) of his siblings, or to a home with an active young FeLV+-positive cat.If you’re seeking a relaxed, handsome playmate (plus one of his bff siblings), come meet Francis and the rest of the Top Secret gang this fall! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
We got Veda from a family friend about 3 1/2 years ago a few months after she was born. She is a very friendly, playful cat that loves to cuddle and receive attention. We now have 2 little kids and we are no longer able to give her the attention she needs. We have another older female cat that she gets along ok with and she is great with our kids and all people really. She is a very good cat and should be in a home that has the time and desire to play and cuddle with her.

Story
Fiona is a beautiful and loving cat. She loves to sit on you and pur. And if you are eating a kale salad, she would love if you could spare a leaf. She is very food motivated, but does not care for human food or wet food. While she is a loving cat, that big emotion can spill into other big emotions. She will take someone who can see her for the loving cat she is; not a diamond in the rough but a diamond with some rough. Fiona does well with self play, but loves realistic sized mouse toys - especially the ones that rattle. Wand toys offer a lot of excitement from her. Adult with no kids/other animals. Best for patient and experienced cat owner.

Story
❤️ Special Home Needed for a Very Special Girl ❤️ Sometimes the cats who need us the most aren't the ones who immediately climb into our laps. We have a beautiful 4-year-old brown Siamese girl who came to us after being picked up by ACS with her kittens. Her babies are friendly, happy little kitties, but Momma is a different story. This beautiful girl is spicy, frightened, and unsure of people. She cannot be held right now, and the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. But we don't believe that means she doesn't deserve a loving home. We believe she simply needs someone who is willing to give her time, patience, and the chance to learn that she is safe. 🐾 Since coming into rescue, she has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccinations, so now we're hoping to find the special person who will take the next step with her. 🏡 We are looking for a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't expect an instant lap cat. Someone who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Someone who understands that sitting quietly in the same room, offering treats, playing with a wand toy, or simply giving her a safe place to observe the world can be a huge step forward. Maybe she will never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around. And that's okay. Maybe her way of saying "I love you" will be sitting beside you instead of on your lap. Maybe she'll eventually accept a gentle touch. Maybe she'll surprise us all. What she needs most is someone willing to give her the opportunity to find out. ❤️ We are asking our rescue community: 🐾 Is there someone out there who would be willing to give this beautiful girl a chance? We are willing to negotiate her adoption fee for the right person and the right application. This isn't about finding just anyone for her. It's about finding the person who understands that earning the trust of a frightened cat can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is. If you have experience with shy, fearful, or unsocialized cats—or simply have a quiet home and a very patient heart—we would love to hear from you. ❤️ She doesn't need someone to fix her. She needs someone willing to show her that she is safe, loved, and finally home. Adoption fee for right application is negotiable.

Story
Behind this beautiful boy's gorgeous coat and blue eyes is a scared little guy looking for somewhere safe to land. Ringo and his foster mom are hard at work teaching him that he can trust people. Ringo's ideal home is one that can give him somewhere quiet to decompress and respects his space and boundaries as he gets his bearings. Caring for a scaredy cat like Ringo requires a caretaker that will work with him at his pace and keep the Churus flowing. At this time, Ringo is not a good fit for a home with children or other animals. Interested in learning more about what it takes to care for a cat like Ringo? Put in an application and his foster parents will be happy to answer any questions! ---- Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
