Honey Bear is young (1-2 years), blond, lean and lanky, with eyes that look deeply into yours, and who savors human interaction This fellow was a very hungry stray being fed for several weeks until he was successfully live-trapped. It was obvious he’d been outside for a while. Initially timid, he has now established deep trust in his caregiver and savors gentle human contact. Honey Bear has enjoyed living in his own upstairs room which has become his safe place. One of his favorite things to do is gaze out his windows to safely watch any outdoor action. He definitely enjoys looking, but does not want to be an outdoor kitty – way too scary for him. And he loves being toasty and warm. Since he is now ready to expand his horizons, he has been slowly exploring the house he lives in. Watching Honey Bear discover and play with toys, experience new environments, and watch his confidence and imagination grow has been rewarding. Because being indoors is new to him, a gradual introduction and his own safe room will be a necessity until he gains confidence in his new home. An adult-only home with adopters who are experienced with timid cats and can offer the patience required while he develops trust will be the best fit for this gentle and loving boy. Another gentle cat who can be a good playmate and appropriate buddy might be a great addition later. Honey Bear is simply looking for a forever home where he can be loved and return that love in full. And, yes, he sings “I am Siamese if you please…I am Siamese if you don’t please…..” HoneyBear is in foster care. ❤️ Special Home Needed for a Very Special Girl ❤️ Sometimes the cats who need us the most aren't the ones who immediately climb into our laps. We have a beautiful 4-year-old brown Siamese girl who came to us after being picked up by ACS with her kittens. Her babies are friendly, happy little kitties, but Momma is a different story. This beautiful girl is spicy, frightened, and unsure of people. She cannot be held right now, and the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. But we don't believe that means she doesn't deserve a loving home. We believe she simply needs someone who is willing to give her time, patience, and the chance to learn that she is safe. 🐾 Since coming into rescue, she has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccinations, so now we're hoping to find the special person who will take the next step with her. 🏡 We are looking for a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't expect an instant lap cat. Someone who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Someone who understands that sitting quietly in the same room, offering treats, playing with a wand toy, or simply giving her a safe place to observe the world can be a huge step forward. Maybe she will never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around. And that's okay. Maybe her way of saying "I love you" will be sitting beside you instead of on your lap. Maybe she'll eventually accept a gentle touch. Maybe she'll surprise us all. Sven Jorgensen has the perfect balance of personality, affectionate and independent. He is a 6-month-old, flame point Siamese and is all purrs.Sven makes his foster parents giggle when he drags ribbon wands around like trophies. He has six other siblings known for their antics, named for characters in the comedy show, “Top Secret.” All the kittens all have big energy. They run, jump and wrestle for hours every day. They are thrilled when their foster parents play with interactive toys with them. When they're tired, they settle into laps for naps and love snuggling at night in bed. Sven is a very cuddly boy and loves to snuggle on your chest at night!Sven lives with his six siblings in a large primary bedroom in a house with his foster parents.The kittens have tested positive for a disease called feline leukemia virus. They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Sven cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+.
