My name is Ferris — a handsome seal-point Siamese mix with charming snowshoe feet and a voice you’ll never forget. For a long time, I wandered a neighborhood alone. It seemed my family had moved away and simply left me behind. I waited. I hoped. But no one came back for me. Then a kindhearted woman noticed me. She saw past the loneliness and took me in, giving me safety and love until a space opened at Animal Ark. I’ll always be grateful for that. Everyone who meets me says the same thing: I’m friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully talkative. What can I say? I’m part Siamese — we’re known for having opinions, and I’ve got plenty to share. I’ll chat with you about your day, your dinner, your dreams… I just love being part of the conversation. When I arrived at the shelter, I was tested for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. My results came back positive for both FIV and feline leukemia. It sounds scary, but many cats like me live long, happy, love-filled lives. I just need to be the only cat in my home — which means you get all my affection, all my purrs, and all my stories. I’d be an ideal candidate for a foster home. But life changed for our family, and suddenly there wasn’t enough time for us anymore. Losing our home has been confusing and sad, but through it all, Phoebe and I have leaned on each other the way we always have. We’re safe, we’re together, and we’re hoping—really hoping—that someone out there is ready to love a pair of young cats who already love each other deeply. My previous family described me as friendly, affectionate, and sweet-natured. I was cautious and reserved with the children in our home. Meet Blooper Reels(Bloopers)! He is 9 years old. He is a velcro cat to the max! He is happiest when he is in the company of humans and will follow you from room to room. He wants to be by you, lay down next to you or cuddle up to you. You could not meet a sweeter little boy. My career has me out of the house more frequently and that has given him separation anxiety. He has been having accidents (peeing) outside of his litter box when I am out of the house. He has been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. He pee's on his own things or in corners because he is stressed when left alone. He does not have accidents when i am home and when i am gone i keep him in a small room where we are working on correcting the behavior, I am doing everything in my power to help him. I know with someone who can devote more time to him he can beat this bad habit! In reaturn you will get the most loving sweet silly cat you have ever met.

Once he feels safe and comfortable, Auden loves to give head bumps, soak up attention, and curl up in his favorite person's lap. He is also happy to simply relax nearby, keeping his humans company while they go about their day.Auden has a moderate energy level and enjoys a balance of playtime and quiet companionship. His favorite toys are wand and ribbon toys, especially when he can pounce from the comfort of a box or his cave bed. Watching him swat, chase, and chomp at his moving target is a great way to win his heart.Currently, Auden lives with his foster mom and a resident cat. He would love a feline friend who is interested in playing, as he seems to gain confidence from the company of other cats. Skye is an 8-year-old Siamese mix who has been a loved part of our family for many years. She was found as a tiny kitten along the side of the road in 2018 and became our teenager’s pet. During COVID, and a move on our part, my mom took her in, and they quickly bonded. Due to my elderly mom's declining health, she can no longer care for Skye, and we want to find her a home that better suits her personality and needs. We have taken Skye in again, but have since gotten another cat. Despite efforts we cannot convince the two to get along. Skye is independent, strong-willed, and a bit of a “slow burn.” She prefers affection on her own terms, but with time and trust she becomes affectionate and enjoys lap time, head butts, and forehead kisses. She may not give the best first impression, as siamese are known for, but patience pays off. She wants to be an only cat. She lives with two Labs and does well if they respect her space. She is primarily an indoor cat but enjoys time outside.

Axel strayed from a local farm to my son’s home who traveled a lot. I ended up watching him when my son was out of town and he never picked him back up. I work a lot and he just doesn’t get the attention he deserves. He likes to drink out of faucets, is very affectionate and doesn’t like to miss out on anything. He enjoys looking out windows, belly rubs and playing with toys. Has been around one child but will hide if he’s being chased. My daughter recently moved in with a big dog and her dog is not tolerating the cat. It has been very stressful for both pets. Axel is such a good boy and very sweet.
