They described me as friendly, playful, and outgoing. I am cautious around other cats and happy and playful with dogs and children. Staff have found me to be affectionate and social. I gave birth to a litter of kittens while at Animal Ark, and I`m ready to rediscover my inner kitten, free of motherly responsibilities. Murietta came from a hoarder’s house. The house was so crowded with stuff and other cats that Murietta was forced to find a place to call her own - the rafters. It’s been years since Murietta was rescued from that hoarder’s house but the horrors she lived through are fresh in her head. Years later, she still prefers the rafters. She likes to be up high. Her tower is her security. Murietta doesn’t live completely in her castle in the clouds. When she does venture down to earth, she loves to curl up with her friend Scrappy. Scrappy is very similar in purrsonality to Murietta. He hasn’t been convinced that he needs to interact with humans. Both Murietta and Scrappy are sweet cats. There’s not a bad bone in their bodies. They just prefer cats to humans. Their adopter needs to appreciate their preferences. Murietta is very bonded to her friend Scrappy. She must be adopted with him. He is a gentle soul who is still reserved but slowly warming up to the world around him. While he can be a little skittish at first, he completely melts into your arms when held, showing just how much love he has to give. Roan is playful with his siblings and enjoys their company, so he will need another young cat in his forever home to keep him happy and confident. Though he is small in size, he has a big personality and a loud voice when he wants something. With patience and affection, Roan will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. that was found roaming the streets of Eagle Pass. Thankfully a wonderful vet found him and worked on gaining his trust.
