Nala is a sweet, petite, 3-year-old Siamese cat who just can’t wait to be queen of the household.Nala has a loud roar (meow) that may be intimidating, but when it comes down to it all she wants is to settle into her favorite throne, the lap of her human, for pets. Nala also enjoys looking out the window upon her kingdom, knowing that all the light touches is hers to enjoy whether watching birds out the window or following a sunbeam around the room for a midday nap. Nala would thrive as the only reigning animal in the home as she was previously bullied by other cats. However, with slow introductions, her foster believes she could learn to accept a dog. Nala has not met children but given her friendly nature, her foster believes she could do well with children of preschool age or above.- - - - - - - - - - - - -There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Auden is a handsome, affectionate, tentative 8-year-old cat looking for a consistent home.Auden is cheerful and cuddly, but needs time to warm up to new people and environments. The time it takes for him to get comfortable is well worth the reward of his purring lap time and cheerful gallops to greet his people. When he relaxes enough to play with his favorite spring toys, his wiggly joy is contagious.Auden loves small spaces. He naps in a cave bed or Kitty Kasa. If he get nervous, he uses his cozy nooks as a retreat. Auden ikes to rise early and have breakfast and pets from his foster family. When he looks at you with his blue eyes, it brightens the whole day ahead.Auden likes other cats. He chirps when he ses them and he is very calm when he meets new feline friends. He would do well in a home with another older cat. Auden has been declawed, so he will not do well with cats that are prone to rough play.Auden will do best with a family that understands his need to retreat and provides him many small nooks to nestle into. Most of the time, Auden wants attention, but sometimes he needs his space. He would like to live with a quiet family that will respect his need for consistency.Auden has used the litterbox perfectly in his foster home, but he had a reported history of going outside the box. His care team is suspicious that Auden was attempting to communicate about his untreated dental issues. At Pet Haven, he had a dental cleaning and two problem teeth removed. They all arrived with upper respiratory infections when they were trapped and struggling to thrive. While being cared for by the foster, they have thrived and are loving the safety and security of a home. They are looking forward to having a home to call their own and putting the outdoor life behind them forever.  Thor is very shy and will need a patient and calm home, probably no young kids. He takes a long time to warm up to people and will likely not want to be touched for quite a while as he settles in. If you're looking for a guy who is true to the cat personality and has the 'I will come out' or 'I will be touched on my terms' type; well, he is exactly that! Yes, my person really did name me Calico. Why is that strange? Well, because I am Siamese, if you please. I’m at least 7 years old, but who am I to say? I am one of ten cats whose owner died last year, and way back last summer, Paws and Claws found us a foster home because our person’s family couldn’t take care of us. I’m one of those who is still waiting for a home. It took a while for me to come out of my shell, but now I ask to be petted. I am feeling good and am eating quite well now that I had some dental work done. I’m not too interested in playing, but I generally get along with most other cats. If you have a sense of humor and can appreciate my name, Calico, and love me for my sweet demeanor, I’d love to go home to be your gentle girl. Meet Mello! Mello is a very talkative, loving boy with a personality as big as his voice! He may take a day or so to warm up, but once he does, he’s all in — following you from room to room as your loyal little shadow. He absolutely adores his people and thrives on companionship. This silly guy believes everything is a toy. If it wasn’t made for cats, that just makes it more interesting! His playful curiosity keeps life entertaining, and he’s always ready to turn everyday objects into his next adventure. Mello is extremely snuggly and has a special talent for slowly crawling up to settle right on your chest… or even your face if you’ll let him! That said, he does appreciate having his own space sometimes and enjoys lounging by the window, happily watching the world go by. He’s been very friendly with babies and has done well around little ones. However, loud or sudden noises can startle him — especially when tiny humans turn into tiny “raptors,” as they sometimes do! Because of this, a calmer home environment would suit him best. Mello would truly thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. He gets lonely and isn’t shy about expressing it — he is a very mouthy boy and will happily chat with you about his feelings. Anyone considering Mello should appreciate a vocal cat who loves to communicate.
