Honey Bear is young (1-2 years), blond, lean and lanky, with eyes that look deeply into yours, and who savors human interaction This fellow was a very hungry stray being fed for several weeks until he was successfully live-trapped. It was obvious he’d been outside for a while. Initially timid, he has now established deep trust in his caregiver and savors gentle human contact. Honey Bear has enjoyed living in his own upstairs room which has become his safe place. One of his favorite things to do is gaze out his windows to safely watch any outdoor action. He definitely enjoys looking, but does not want to be an outdoor kitty – way too scary for him. And he loves being toasty and warm. Since he is now ready to expand his horizons, he has been slowly exploring the house he lives in. Watching Honey Bear discover and play with toys, experience new environments, and watch his confidence and imagination grow has been rewarding. Because being indoors is new to him, a gradual introduction and his own safe room will be a necessity until he gains confidence in his new home. An adult-only home with adopters who are experienced with timid cats and can offer the patience required while he develops trust will be the best fit for this gentle and loving boy. Another gentle cat who can be a good playmate and appropriate buddy might be a great addition later. Honey Bear is simply looking for a forever home where he can be loved and return that love in full. My name is Ferris — a handsome seal-point Siamese mix with charming snowshoe feet and a voice you’ll never forget. For a long time, I wandered a neighborhood alone. It seemed my family had moved away and simply left me behind. I waited. I hoped. But no one came back for me. Then a kindhearted woman noticed me. I’ll chat with you about your day, your dinner, your dreams… I just love being part of the conversation. When I arrived at the shelter, I was tested for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. My results came back positive for both FIV and feline leukemia. It sounds scary, but many cats like me live long, happy, love-filled lives. I just need to be the only cat in my home — which means you get all my affection, all my purrs, and all my stories. I’d be an ideal candidate for a foster home. Francis is a sweet, affectionate, 4-month-old lilac point Siamese who loves to play, snuggle with other kittens, and occasionally snuggle with people.This adorable little guy loves to suckle on fuzzy blankets as if nursing, since he was found away from his mother at 6 weeks old. He also loves to play with stringy wand toys. He is a pretty chill kitten, content to spend his time relaxing, but equally up for playing if there are toys or other kittens around. He and his very busy six siblings, the “Top Secret” kittens, are great buddies and playmates. Francis lives with seven other kittens in the large primary bedroom of a house with his foster parents. The kittens have tested positive for a disease called feline leukemia virus. They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Francis cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Francis and his siblings maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. Gerald is a striking, six-month-old Siamese mix looking for his next human to keep him on his current trajectory of becoming a “very brave boy, capable of meeting new people without too much stress.”This handsome boy spends his days looking for someone to pet him–end of story; this is so sweet, considering I couldn’t touch him for 6 weeks as he made his transition to the cozy indoor life!His coat is soft like silk so, he’s 100% therapy-approved for calming his owners down while he gets his pets.Gerald is a medium-energy guy. He has his zoomie moments, but honestly after a morning and evening play session with his littermates, he’s really just looking for a lap. He uses his litterbox like a champ, but may occasionally need light trimming of his bum fur, to keep him clean and fresh at all times. He currently shares his home with 2 rabbits, his kitty siblings, 4 adult cats, and a German Shepherd. This chill dude is not going to love a home with crazy dogs chasing him, but he will be fine (eventually) sharing his space with a calm, cat-savvy pooch. He does well with other cats, but hasn’t met any children yet.Gerald would thrive in a quieter home, as he and his sibling will still scatter when you enter a room.
