Story
Plankton was named when she came in. She’s a sweet, quiet cat who is having a bit of a tough time adjusting to her new living situation. Needs time to decompress and settle into her new home, but will make a good pet once she’s comfortable. She’s spayed, vaccinated, flea treatment and microchipped

Story
Here's what you need to know about me:Hi there! I'm Bella, I'll admit I'm on the shy side - but that just means I'm waiting for the perfect human who understands that quiet hearts have the most love to give. My ideal home would be calm and patient, where gentle voices and soft movements help me feel safe. I love quiet corners and cozy blankets, and I might not rush up to greet you immediately, but once I trust you, I'll be the most devoted companion you could imagine. And I also love to play with string toys, I love to bat at them! My quiet nature means I'm perfect for someone who appreciates subtle companionship. If there are kids in my new home, I need them to be older than 6 and must meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time. Primary Color: Lynx Point Secondary Color: Torti Point Weight: 9.36 Age: 8yrs 2mths 3wks

What my friends at OHS say about me:I have been working with the Behavior team here at OHS and am looking for a special home. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment. To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.Handling Sensitivity:I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to cat savvy home.I should be pursuing a modeling career, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.I'm not just your average cat, I'm a Siamese torti point, and I have what the humans like to call "tortitude." That basically makes me royalty and I MUST be treated as such.I may enjoy casually batting at a toy mouse every now and then, but my favorite activity is relaxing in the best spots around the house. I'm an affectionate yet independent girl with a bit of spice and will need a family that is well versed in feline body language. I'm not a fan of sharing my space with other animals and will need to be your one and only true love. The type of home I'm looking for:I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home. I am not for the first time cat owner. Someone very familiar with feline body language is a must for me.I need a home without cats or other small animals.I need to live in a dog-free home.It could be with you! What my friends at OHS say about me:My friends call me a "couch potato" because my favorite thing to do is laze around the house.I am a full time love-bug and part time cuddle-bug.I have a medical condition called feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC) and will need to live in a calm environment. This may also require lifelong management.Helping me lose weight will allow me to live my best life!Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Story
I need to rehome/find a foster for my sweet boy Rockford "Rocky" Rockefeller. He's a seven year old, chocolate point Siamese, with two little white spots on his mouth that look like a mustache. Rocky has diabetes. I was scared when I found out at first, but it's easily managed with insulin and he doesn't even notice when we give it to him.(Insulin runs $23/mo) He loves to snuggle in bed right under your chin and put his little arm around your neck, nap in boxes and scratch those cardboard scratching boxes. He's litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all his shots. He's perfectly fine with other cats or dogs in the house and has never been aggressive.  Rocky is far more than his disease, he is sweet, loveable and social.  His adoption fee is $35.  Indoor only.    This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 6, 2025, 8:29 pm
