Story
What my friends at OHS say about me:Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite chatty!I'm a very active and curious boy - I love to run, jump, and explore!Need a pal to motivate you to get up and play? That's me!I should be pursuing a career in cat modeling, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.I will never leave your side (don't wanna miss out on any pets) but I'd rather not be picked up too often. I love being with my people and need the attention, but I can be sensitive to being held and carried.I have a medical condition that requires long term management.Handling Sensitivity: I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home. The type of home I'm looking for:I need a home without cats or other small animals.I am not for the first time cat owner. Someone very familiar with feline body language is a must for me.It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Story
I got Samantha from a shelter back in January! She is a very sweet, loving girl, though new places can take a bit of getting used to for her. She would prefer to be the only cat, but if you do have other cats, she can adjust with a slow, careful introduction because she can be a little hissy and might swat at the other cats. She absolutely loves her food! Because she is currently 18 pounds, she is on a strict weight-loss diet that must be maintained. I feed her 1/2 can of wet food for breakfast, 1/2 can for lunch, and exactly 1/4 cup of dry kibble for dinner. Because she is so food-motivated, she eats very fast; it is best to spread her wet food on a lick mat so she doesn't throw up. I'm guessing she lived on the streets for a long time before the shelter, as she doesn’t really understand toys or know how to play normally. Instead of chasing things, she just kind of wiggles at them in the cutest way! She is a truly wonderful, good girl who loves the occasional belly rub.

Story
Greetings new friends! I'm Abram and I love every human. I was born almost totally blind (I can see light and shadow but I don't know what I'm seeing). My mom and siblings were blind. I'm also fairly deaf. I navigate the world with confidently and will headbutt anything I think is friendly and will pet me.I probably have epilepsy and will have a few big seizures a month. So far in the month I've been with Animal Aid they have not see any seizures. Currently I get a cheap medicine to help with that but if I do get more seizures I may need more medicine for that with regular blood tests to make sure it's not building up in my system too much.  I had a little diarrhea when I first got here so I'm on a special food to help with my digestion. I probably won't need to be on this food forever.I lived with cats and a dog previously and did well. It takes me some time to get used to new animals it seems so I have my own room in the shelter currently. I'm super affectionate and chill and can do most things a cat with vision can do. I don't really like being picked up since it disorients me but I like to cuddle. I will meow to get your attention or if I'm confused about something. My estimated birthdate is 11/1/2024.

Story
Are you searching for a companion who brings a sense of serenity rather than a whirlwind of chaos? Meet Bria, the professional lounger who proves that the best things in life are calm, cool, and collected. Before you fall head over heels for those blue eyes, watch her video to see just how peaceful and sweet this girl truly is! https://youtu.be/nOq5lmxF4OQ While it's always a bit of a "rescue riddle" to name a breed, we’re guessing Bria is a gorgeous Snowshoe mix. She’s got the whole package: the creamy coat, the fancy white socks, and those stunning blue eyes that seem to look right into your soul. What makes her a true one of a kind girl is her unique tortie-point coloring especially that darling dark smudge on her nose that makes her look like she’s been playing in a box of cocoa! Bria is the definition of low-maintenance; she’s a graceful observer who prefers window shopping over cardio. She’ll spend hours happily watching birds from her favorite sunny spot, and you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing your curtains are safe she’s much too sophisticated for any of those climbing shenanigans. If you’re ready to trade the stress of the day for a lifetime of quiet companionship, head over to our website and submit an application to bring Bria home today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69e7d40ea6e58b5e9d028c84 Questions? The adoption fee is $800.00 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
