Story
Rey is a sweet and loving girl. She will snuggle you after she gets to know you only if you ignore her. She will gladly chase a ball or play with toys like a kitten. She won't go onto the couch when you're on it unless you tap twice to tell her that it's okay. She is currently living with 5 other cats and it's too much for her as they sometimes attack her. I only had 2 others but due to an emergent situation my daughter moved back in with 3 more cats. This led to potty issues where she does not use the box to pee as she should. She will need someone with hard wood floors and the willingness to retrain her to the bathroom. This is most likely to work as an only cat or another tame or old one. She does not like going outside at all. She gets scared easily. She will come with food for the first month, a litter box with litter, and a cat tree if desired to help her adjust to a new setting.

Story
Hi, I'm Lola! I love to play and explore every corner of my world. I'm the friendly type, always ready for a game or a chat. My curiosity knows no bounds, and I've got energy to match! I'm quite the social butterfly, but I need someone who understands when I'm overstimulated and need a little space. If you can read my signs when I'm feeling a bit too fussed, we'll get along famously. Best with no young children.  If you would like to meet me please go to furryfriendswa.org, click adopt and fill out an application.  ##2503803##

Story
Rice (3 years) and Mustard(2 years) are two sweet boys looking for a calm, loving home where they can stay together. Rice is a gentle, affectionate Flame Point Siamese mix with a soft raspy voice and beautiful blue eyes. Once he gets to know you, he will quietly “ask” for attention and insists on getting his fair share of pets before he’ll even consider eating. When he feels especially loved, Rice does the sweetest little “coo” while rubbing his face against you. He is truly one of the most loving cats you could ever meet and would make an incredibly devoted companion. Mustard, his younger “brother,” is the playful comedian of the pair. He loves feather toys, sparkly balls, and even chasing light reflections. This little entertainer will greet you with dramatic belly flops, loud purrs, and endless affection. He’s well-mannered, uses his litter box perfectly, and brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. Like Rice, Mustard was rescued from the same difficult environment in February and both can be startled by loud noises. He, too, would thrive in a peaceful adult home.  Since being rescued from a domestic violence household they have been learning that the world can be safe and kind. These boys are deeply attached to one another—snuggling together throughout the day, grooming each other, and finding comfort in their bond and we would love to see them adopted together.  $300 for the pair adoption.  UTD with medical care.  These rescued boys live in Hillsboro with their guardians and their adoption fee is $300 for the pair.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 3, 2026, 12:16 am

Story
I got Samantha from a shelter back in January! She is a very sweet, loving girl, though new places can take a bit of getting used to for her. She would prefer to be the only cat, but if you do have other cats, she can adjust with a slow, careful introduction because she can be a little hissy and might swat at the other cats. She absolutely loves her food! Because she is currently 18 pounds, she is on a strict weight-loss diet that must be maintained. I feed her 1/2 can of wet food for breakfast, 1/2 can for lunch, and exactly 1/4 cup of dry kibble for dinner. Because she is so food-motivated, she eats very fast; it is best to spread her wet food on a lick mat so she doesn't throw up. I'm guessing she lived on the streets for a long time before the shelter, as she doesn’t really understand toys or know how to play normally. Instead of chasing things, she just kind of wiggles at them in the cutest way! She is a truly wonderful, good girl who loves the occasional belly rub.
