Siamese kittens & cats in Washougal, Washington

Bella is a 5 year old, spayed, female deSiamese. She loves her brother-dog Beau. He’s an older black lab & she loves to sleep cuddled up next to him. She loves any empty box & thinks you got it just for her; loves sleeping inside baskets & on top of the dryer, loves bird watching at the window, catching any fly or bug that makes its way inside; loves curling up on top of a blanket on someone’s lap & loves sprawling out on peoples chests; loves to play w/ribbons, feathers & little sequin ball’s; loves to lay on heat registers & is highly motivated by kitty treats. The issue we’re having is that we got another ‘sister-kitty’ thinking Bella would love a friend. Sadly, Bella has become a bully to her:hissing, growling, swatting at her & over the past couple years protesting by peeing on the ground by the other cat. We have 2 litters, 2 cat beds, 2 water/food bowls.We have tried to separate them but Bella seeks out the other cat to show dominance. She needs a loving home w/o another cat.

Salem was found by my sister in the streets of San Antonio, TX. Due to a rental situation, my sister was unable to keep her. We picked her up from TX and drove her to our home in Colorado in May. My spouse and I received job offers in the PDX area so she moved with us here in August. We have 2 cats (11 and 8 yrs old) and she does not know how to interact with them . She has cornered the 11 yr old cat multiple times and has gotten into fights with the 8 yr old. So looking for a home with no cats. She will meow at people at the front window like a dog would. Overall she has a very loving personality. She loves humans and pets. She will head butt your hand for more. She likes going outside on a lead and eating grass. She can be a chatterbox and will have a conversation with you. She knows and will respond to her name. Hi, my name is Salem. I have to tell you, life has been quite the rollercoaster. I am really looking to settle into a quiet home and life with my own people! I have had a lot of bumps in my roughly 4 years on earth. I was born in Texas and was adopted to someone that had life changes and she rehomed me, then, poof! I was homeless and found on the street. I was adopted to a nice family but there were some other 4 legged family members that were not very accepting. Not wanting me to go back to that shelter, I was given to a family member and they have been trying their best to make it work for me, but again, more 4 legged family members. So, here we are! My currently family want me to be an only cat, in a quiet home with my own people. As you can probably understand, young kids are not good for me. I really need patience and time to help me decompress. Older kids would be able to read my cat signs. I am a typical Siamese, very vocal and we can carry on a conversation if you speak cat. If you go out to work or run errands, I will tell you about my day when you come home. I have been known to try to have conversations with people outside (of course, they can't hear me thru the closed windows) I do love to have my head scratched and once comfortable, love having a full body massage. I have lived an indoor only life and that is best for me.
