Story
Ivory is 9 months old. Her birthday is 3/13/2025. She’s a bundle of energy and joy. A true Velcro puppy she loves to be near you. She definitely needs to be socialized to the world but shes very eager to please and the easiest little girl to train. She knows how to sit (a wiggly sit I must add) and lay down. She is also familiar with ‘touch.’ She eats anything you put in front of her and has a relatively tough stomach. Overall she just wants to give love and be loved.

Story
Meet Roxy – Loyal, Loving, and Full of Life Roxy is a 7-year-old, ~70 lb Staffordshire Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She’s high-energy, affectionate, and thrives on love and attention—always happy to play hard and then snuggle on the couch. Roxy is fully house-trained and does well with toddlers and children, though she’s best suited for a calm environment. She gets along with smaller dogs but can be food aggressive, so supervised feeding is important. Roxy is a natural protector and makes an excellent guard dog, always alert and aware of her surroundings. Roxy does have anxiety and needs a patient, understanding owner who can provide consistency, reassurance, and a stable home. With love and structure, she bonds deeply and is incredibly loyal. Due to unavoidable family medical issues, we are seeking a new home where Roxy can receive the time, attention, and activity she deserves. She would be perfect for an active individual or family with a fenced yard look

Story
Meet Sugar Sweet • Loving • Gentle Companion   Sugar was a devoted mom in a high-intake shelter, where she cared for her puppies despite the stressful environment. She is now safe in foster care with Pep’s Pals Rescue and is ready to find her forever home.   Sugar has a calm, affectionate nature and truly enjoys being with her people. She walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and already knows basic commands like “sit.” She is treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves receiving affection from her humans.   In the home, Sugar strikes a nice balance with a medium energy level. She enjoys getting out for walks and spending time with her people, but she is also happy to relax and settle in afterward. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but she is gentle and sweet with her enthusiasm.   Sugar’s Highlights • Former shelter mom who did wonderfully under pressure • Now thriving in foster care with Pep’s Pals Rescue • Walks well on leash • Knows “sit” and takes treats gently • Affectionate and people-oriented • Medium energy level • Gentle, loving personality • Would do well in a stable, loving home   Sugar has done her job as a mom, and now it is her turn to be someone’s cherished companion. She is ready for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of a family. If you're interested in adopting, please apply at Pepspalsrescue.org/adopt ##2261898##

Story
Snuggler!MEET BLUE!   Blue is in need of a foster or adopter due to incompatible living circumstances. Blue and Pablo are (adopted) siblings who are just not that into each other. So sadly, one must find new accommodations. One, not both, so if you didn’t have room for Pablo could Blue be the one?? Here’s her pitch for why you should Go Blue!...   “Hi, I’m Blue! My brother and I don’t get along anymore. Do you have any relatives that you just don’t want to hang out with? Yeah, it’s like that. It’s not that I don’t like dogs, but he just bugs me. I’d like to have a say in picking out a new brother or sister! Thanks for understanding.   “I am a little over 6 years old and have been with my family since I was a puppy. We think I am a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix. I love people…LOVE PEOPLE! Believe me when I tell you, I have never met a stranger. I currently stay off the furniture but if you let me, I will happily nap on your lap or just sit and watch TV with you. It’s not like I am heavy; I only weigh 46 pounds!    “Being destructive is not in my nature. I don’t touch shoes or chew on anything I am not supposed to. I know what belongs to me and what doesn’t. By the way, my favorite toys are stuffed and make crinkly sounds. After years of toy exploration, I have found what floats my boat!    “I have an easy-going nature but when I am excited over something, I go all in. My exercise requirement is low to medium. I like to walk and sniff. An occasional run is good, but I really enjoy walking and exploring more. I make friends easily, so I would be happy with another dog buddy or even a cat since I had a kitty buddy in the past.”    Blue’s adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Blue by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.August 11, 2025, 8:21 pm
