Louie, who is 6.5 years old - D.O.B. is July 2019- is an absolutely incredible dog, and I love him dearly. We've had him for 6 years, but unfortunately have decided we need to rehome him as he has shown some spurts of aggression towards our 1 year old daughter. He is sweet, loyal, fun, very well potty-trained, and all around an amazing animal. While he is good around my 1 year old daughter 99% of the time, he has had three incidents over the last 4 months wherein he has snapped at her after she grabbed his face or tail to catch her balance (one time drawing blood). Besides from the incidents with my daughter, over 6 years, he has also lunged at a few people on walks in Chicago, drawing blood 2x over 6 years. He is territorial over our home, and all of his incidents have occurred within 100 feet of our home. Louie can also be aggressive towards other larger dogs than him. We would like to find a new home for Louie wherein there are no small children, where he can live in peace.
