Story
Meet Finn! Finn is a sweet guy with lots of energy and a lot to learn! He starts out as pretty worried but when he comes out of his shell he is a bouncy, playful boy! He came from a home where he did not meet many people or dogs, so he is looking for patient adopters that are ready for a training challenge and are ready to go at his pace when introducing him to people, dogs and the world! Finn could potentially live with a well-matched dog friend, a cat if starting with complete separation and slow introduction, or children that are excited about training and okay with an excitable dog!

Story
Lady Lollipop—lovingly called “Lollie”—is as delightful as her name suggests. This beautiful 18-month-old Parti Doodle weighs 50 pounds and brings a perfect blend of playful energy and gentle affection to every moment. Lollie has grown up in a busy, love-filled home with eight children, including four foster kids, and she has proven herself to be incredibly adaptable, patient, and kind. She truly loves children and seems to understand how to match their energy—whether it’s playtime in the yard or settling in for some quiet companionship. This smart girl is already house-trained and eager to show off her skills. She knows how to play fetch and would happily spend hours chasing a ball or toy, especially if it means making her people smile. Lollie thrives on interaction and is always ready for the next adventure. What we have found about Lollie is that she is leash reactive with other dogs when out on walks or hiking trails.  We are not sure why since often she seems to be fine with dogs but recently we have found that she considers small dogs not to her liking and so we feel  that her best life would be lived with a fenced backyard (absolutely must have a home with a fenced yard) and not expected to be a social butterfly out for walks where other dogs might come running up toward her.  Car rides? One of her favorites. Running and playing outside? Even better.  She can be worked with over time but for now we are just saying it is best for her and her family to not expect her to be BFF with other dogs unless her size and introduced carefully.  This is her only marginal trait that needs work and no expectations of her changing right away.  Lollie is truly “as sweet as a lollipop”—affectionate, intelligent, and full of joy. She’s ready to bring her loving spirit into a forever home that will cherish her as much as she will cherish them.  If you are interested, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 16, 2026, 8:58 pm

Story
Hello! My name is Kizzi, and I am a 5-year-old Goldendoodle weighing 50 lbs. I’m an affectionate, loving girl who gets along with everyone. I absolutely adore people, and I love other dogs—big or small. I’m also friendly with cats. I have the sweet nature of a Golden Retriever and the intelligence of a Poodle, making me very smart and eager to please.   As a Goldendoodle, I’m naturally active and energetic. I’m looking for a family who enjoys walks, runs, and hikes—and who will help me master leash walking. I learn quickly and promise to keep up with all your fun family adventures!   My original owner was unable to work with me, but I know I’ll thrive in a forever home with a family that will challenge me and help me learn new things. I am already housebroken and crate-trained, making me an easy addition to your home.   To learn more about Kizzi and the adoption process, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311.  Approved application and adoption fee required.  Kizzi is in Nashville and can be transported north upon adoption.July 16, 2026, 8:58 pm

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally. We are hoping to adopt Indy and Odie together as they`re lived together for several years.Meet Indie and Odie! Odie is pproximately 5-6 years old, 57 lb currently (needs to lose a little weight), and she may have some Poodle in her mix! In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids, possibly dog-savvy cats, and other dogs. Her foster says, `Meet your new best friend! This sweet pup is full of love and personality. She loves to cuddle up on the couch for quality time just as much as she loves to play and have fun. Whether it’s chasing toys, running around with other animals, or relaxing beside you after a long day, she’s happiest being around her people. She does great with kids and enjoys the company of other animals, making her a wonderful addition to a family home. She especially loves playing outside in a safe, fenced-in area where she can run freely and burn off energy before coming inside for cuddles and couch time. She has a gentle, loving nature and is looking for a forever home where she can give endless affection and companionship. If you’re searching for a loyal cuddle buddy with a playful side, she could be the perfect match for you!`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in July 17th or possibly earlier.
