MeShell MaBelle is a story of quiet endurance and beautiful transformation. At three years old and 60 pounds, this striking black Standard Poodle embodies everything people love about the breed — intelligence, sensitivity, and a deep emotional awareness of her people. For much of her early life, MeShell tried to be content with limited interaction and long hours alone. While she loved her family, the lack of stimulation and extended crate confinement placed stress on her gentle system, eventually leading to a diagnosis of Addison’s Disease — a condition that is very manageable, especially in a home built on routine, consistency, and love. Everything changed when MeShell entered foster care. Surrounded for the first time by open skies, fresh air, and patient guidance, she began discovering what life could be. On a lively farm filled with dogs of all sizes, curious cats, horses, donkeys, and even pigs, MeShell absorbed new experiences with quiet determination. She learned how to play, how to relax in the presence of others, and how to take joy in simple freedoms — running through tall grass, resting near trusted humans, and curling up beside a canine companion at the end of the day. Today, MeShell is a happy, affectionate, and energetic girl who thrives on companionship and gentle structure. She is deeply people-oriented and does best when she is included, seen, and emotionally connected to her humans. Her care needs are straightforward: a daily pill, a once-monthly injection, and a lifelong promise that she will never again be overlooked. What she gives in return is immeasurable — loyalty, intelligence, and a love that feels steady, intentional, and profoundly sincere. MeShell MaBelle is ready to leave her past behind and step fully into a future where she is cherished as both a companion and a soul. Story
Fenway was adopted from a Mennonite breeder in Pennsylvania in October 2023 when he was six months old. He is a 50/50 mix of Standard Poodle and German Shepherd. He has a poodle-type coat and does not shed. He is truly a good dog and very alert—he’s vocal when anyone or anything comes onto our property. He does well with other dogs and people when introductions are made outside the home, but he is naturally protective and will not allow strangers inside without a proper introduction. Unfortunately, Fenway is simply more dog than we are able to handle. He needs to stay busy and would thrive with plenty of outdoor time and activity. He is not a couch potato, and I’m unsure whether that will change as he gets older. I am currently undergoing knee replacements, and have to medicate him to prevent accidental injury to me, which feels unfair to him. Fenway is crate trained and even puts himself to bed when the TV goes off at night. I love him very much, and this situation is not his fault.

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Annie! Annie is approximately 3 years old, 55 lbs currently and she might have some Doodle in her mix! Annie was found as a stray who was heartworm positive. She`s spent the last few months in her southern foster home getting plenty of TLC and going through heartworm treatment. She is now heartworm negative and ready for adoption! Annie is high energy and needs an active household. She could join households with other high energy and playful dogs and/or dog-savvy kids. No cats, please! Her foster says, `Annie is a beautiful, sweet girl. I have been blessed to be her foster. She has been so much fun! I hope the lucky family that adopts Annie enjoys her as much as I did. Annie has the most soulful eyes. She looks at me with so much love. I hope the lucky family that adopts her can see what I am talking about. Please enjoy Annie to the fullest.
