Story
Tommy and Ghost come from the same litter and will be 3 years old on October 22nd. Tommy is deeply bonded with his brother, Ghost, and I am looking for a loving home that will adopt them together.I want them to have a family that has the time to devote to them and that will continue to provide them with the love, care, and attention they deserve.Tommy and Ghost are very playful and love hugs and affection. Tommy especially loves greeting you when you come home and will happily jump up on you because he still doesn't realize he isn't a little puppy anymore. If Tommy and Ghost had their way, they would spend all day snuggled up beside you. They also loves doing zoomies around the backyard and chasing squirrels. Ghost enjoys playing fetch. Both boys are sweet, loving companions who deserve a forever home where they can stay together and be cherished.

Story
Jack is a handsome 5 year-old, 60 lbs  black Standard Poodle who is finally getting the opportunity to discover what it means to be part of a family. Originally his life started off being purchased as a puppy for one purpose — to be a breeding dog. He was never given the chance to live inside, curl up beside his people, learn the routines of a household or simply be someone's companion. He spent his years outside in a small pen and requured to father many puppies.  He never got to experience the life that a dog like Jack deserves. Now that chapter is behind him, and we are so excited about what comes next. Jack is incredibly loving, affectionate and smart. He has a wonderful temperament and truly enjoys people. There is a sweetness to him that makes it easy to imagine just how much he is going to blossom once he realizes that being someone's dog means so much more than simply being cared for. Although Jack has never lived inside, he is already showing us some very promising signs. He has been doing remarkably well with keeping his kennel clean, giving us a wonderful foundation as he learns house manners. And with the intelligence Standard Poodles are known for, we expect Jack to be a very willing student once he understands what is being asked of him. There will be plenty of new things for Jack to discover — household sounds, doors, furniture, routines and all the little parts of family life he has never experienced. He may need patience and guidance along the way, but he has everything we could hope for in a dog beginning this journey: intelligence, affection, a gentle nature and an enormous capacity to love. We can't help but think that Jack is going to be absolutely amazed by his new life with a family.  A warm bed, a family to follow from room to room and  someone who wants him beside them simply because they love him. The freedom to finally be a companion instead of a breeding dog. Jack has spent five years waiting for the opportunity to be someone's beloved family member. Now it's finally his turn. And we have a feeling this incredibly sweet, intelligent boy is going to be amazing at it. Story
Ruger — A Sweet Boy Discovering How Wonderful Home Can Be   Ruger is a 40 pound, one-year-old Poodle mix whose life didn’t get the easiest start. He was abandoned along with his brothers and their dad when a tenant left them behind at a cabin in the woods. Like his brothers, Ruger spent his early life outside with very little experience of the world beyond what he knew.   Because of that, adopters should expect Ruger to be a little shy and sensitive at first. Moving into a new home, meeting new people and learning a whole new routine is a big change for a boy who hasn’t always had the chance to experience the world in a safe and secure way. He may need a little time to settle in and figure out that this new life really is his.   But once Ruger gets comfortable, you get to see what a truly sweet boy he is. ❤️ He has been living in a house now and is doing wonderfully. He has discovered some of the very best things about being an indoor dog—especially finding a soft place to curl up and getting comfy on the bed!   Ruger is a loving, happy and smart little guy who is eager to learn and be part of his family. He may be sensitive, but underneath that initial shyness is a sweet boy who wants to trust, wants to please and wants to be loved.   He doesn't need someone to expect him to walk into a new home and immediately act like he has lived there forever. He just needs someone who will give him a little patience while he adjusts, reassure him that he is safe, and let his personality come out at his own pace.   Once Ruger settles in, expect a happy, affectionate, smart little companion who is ready to enjoy all the things he should have had from the beginning—soft beds, loving people, a safe home and a family of his own.   Ruger has already come so far. Now he just needs someone willing to give him the time and love to take that final step into his forever home. ❤️ Few are interested in making Rugers dream family become  your family , please email Critter Cavalry Rescue atccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 16, 2026, 3:05 pm

Story
Meet Ginny Lynn — a sweet little girl who is still learning that being someone’s dog is a pretty wonderful thing. ❤️   Ginny Lynn is a 45 pound, one-year-old Poodle mix who, along with her 2 brothers, was abandoned when a tenant left them and her grey Poodle dad,  behind at a cabin in the woods. They were actually all 4 left in crates and had to wait to be discovered and rescued many days later. They had known both indoor and outdoor life before that, but suddenly being left behind like that was a pretty confusing and scary experience for these pups.   So, it’s no surprise that Ginny can be a little sensitive when everything around her is new. She may not be the one who marches through the door on day one like she owns the place. She’s more of a “let me look around, figure this out and make sure everything is okay” kind of girl.   And honestly, once she decides everything really is okay, she is pretty amazing and  sweet.   She has been living in a house now and is doing well. She is discovering the joys of being comfortable, having a soft place to curl up and getting to spend his days around people. She’s learning that a house isn’t something to be unsure of—it’s where the good stuff happens.   Ginny Lynn is smart, loving and eager to learn. She just needs someone who understands that confidence doesn't always happen overnight. Give her a little patience, a predictable routine and some kindness, and you’ll get to watch this sweet girl come out of her shell.   Once she settles in, expect a happy little companion who wants to be part of things. She has a gentle nature and a sweetness about her that makes you want to reassure her that she has finally landed somewhere good.   And maybe that's what Ginny needs most—not anything fancy, not a perfect home, just a person who will let her take a breath, get comfortable and realize that this time, she's not being left behind.   This girl deserves to know what it feels like to be somebody's dog. To have a favorite bed. A favorite person. A routine. A home. And most importantly, to know that when her person walks out the door, they're coming back.   We think Ginny is going to be awfully easy to love. ❤️. If you are interested in giving this girl The Good Life....
