Story
-Redman Milo is everything people love about a Doodle—a happy, affectionate, people-oriented companion whose greatest joy in life is simply being with his humans. At 2 years old and 55 pounds, he’s the perfect age: past the tiny puppy stage but still young, playful, and ready for a lifetime of adventures with the family he deserves. Milo isn’t looking for a new home because of behavior issues. In fact, he’s a wonderful dog. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, well-mannered, and thrives on love and attention. His heart is happiest when he’s close to his people, soaking up every ear scratch, belly rub, and kind word. Sadly, Milo’s family has experienced a major life change. His dad’s job now requires extensive travel as a construction worker, and the entire family must travel with him. That leaves Milo spending long stretches in boarding, and the financial burden has simply become too much. They have made the heartbreaking decision to find him a stable, loving home where he can finally settle in and never have to wonder where he belongs again. Milo’s ideal family will have the time to include him in everyday life. He would love a securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and enjoy the outdoors before coming inside to relax with his favorite people. Whether it’s walks, weekend adventures, or quiet evenings on the couch, Milo simply wants to be part of the family. If you’ve been searching for a loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail, unconditional love, and endless devotion, Redman Milo may be the one you’ve been waiting for. He has so much love to give and is hoping his next home will truly be his forever home. Could you be the family he’s watching and waiting for? If you can offer Redman Milo the loving, permanent home he deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. He’s ready to leave this chapter behind and begin the happiest one of his life—with you.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 23, 2026, 5:01 pm

Story
DOB 6-1-2025 This sweet Poodle Is crate trained and loves to go for walks on her leash. Ella has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 45 pounds. Ella gets along well with other dogs and LOVES her toys and playing in her back yard. Her adoption fee is 950.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Elsa! Much like her Disney princess namesake, Elsa the dog considers herself royalty and is in search of her next fairytale! Elsa`s been through a lot of transitions ands changes the past several months of her life, and is looking for a home that can give her a stable and predictable place to settle in. While Elsa is sweet and silly with her friends, she can struggle with meeting new people. She barks to show her discomfort when she is not ready to greet someone. Elsa has been able to make friends here at the shelter, and is a happy, wiggly girl with te people she knows! She also loves romping around the yard with toys and getting silly during play. Because Elsa`s a sensitive soul, she`s looking for a home that is able to support her needs and move at her pace. With patience and understanding, Elsa will come out of her shell and show her silly side to adopters just as she has done with her shelter friends. Elsa`s still a young adolescent lady learning about the world, so adopters should be prepared to do a basic training refresher as well. It is reported that Elsa lived successfully with older kids and small dogs in a previous home, but we don`t have much information on what that looked like. Kids and dogs would be asked to come in and meet Elsa prior to take home. If Elsa sounds like a good fit for you family, please come in and say hello! She wil melt your heart!

Story
Tommy and Ghost come from the same litter and will be 3 years old on October 22nd. Tommy is deeply bonded with his brother, Ghost, and I am looking for a loving home that will adopt them together.I want them to have a family that has the time to devote to them and that will continue to provide them with the love, care, and attention they deserve.Tommy and Ghost are very playful and love hugs and affection. Tommy especially loves greeting you when you come home and will happily jump up on you because he still doesn't realize he isn't a little puppy anymore. He can be a bit nippy when playing, but he has never bitten me, my children, or my grandchildren. If Tommy had his way, he would spend all day snuggled up beside you. He also loves doing zoomies around the backyard and chasing squirrels. Ghost enjoys playing fetch. Both boys are sweet, loving companions who deserve a forever home where they can stay together and be cherished.

Story
Bunny is a sweet girl who has had a tough past. Sadly she came shy and covered in extremely thick mats. She has since been given a new haircut, and had time to get to know her new friends at the shelter. Bunny is hoping to go home with her friend Mouse whom she is bonded to. She would prefer no children, as she is hoping for a quiet home. If you are interested in Bunny, give us a call at 603-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.
