ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN NEW JERSEY AND LOCAL SURROUNDING AREAS!!! If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will get back to you within 48 hrs. No inquiries, please, without an application. BIG DOG/ POODLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!! Meet Ryan! This handsome boy is a Poodle mix who is under one year old and was rescued from a difficult situation. He is ALL puppy and will require puppy training classes where he can learn how to act appropriately in a home. Ryan loves everyone he meets and would do best in a home with older children and another established young dog that can teach him the ropes. Ryan has a lot of energy so a very active family will be required to give him the mental and physical stimulation he requires. Ryan would love a home with a fenced-in yard where he could run around and bask in the sunshine. He is a fun-loving boy who just needs love, cuddles and a lot of direction. If you are interested in Ryan, please go to bfdaaa.com to complete an application. December 6, 2025, 8:53 am

Story
Meet Oreo Noir, a gentle and sweet poodle with the softest soul. After being hit by a car, Oreo was surrendered to a New Jersey animal hospital in desperate need of lifesaving emergency care. We stepped in to make sure he got the help he needed, and through it all, Oreo showed nothing but quiet bravery and trust. This resilient boy has a giant heart and so much love to give. Oreo Noir has survived the unimaginable, now he just needs someone to love him back. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Myles (AL) – Your New Best Friend in the MakingMyles is a charming 7yearold neutered male Standard Poodle with a heart as big as his beautiful curls. This handsome gentleman is everything you’d hope for in a companion: steady, affectionate, wellmannered, and ready to bring joy into a new home. Why You’ll Love Him: Great temperament – gentle, friendly, and easygoing; Dogfriendly – he gets along wonderfully with other dogs; Housebroken; Smart & polite – knows how to sit and shake; Adventure buddy – absolutely loves car rides. Myles is looking for a catfree home, as he prefers to keep his distance from feline friends. His current family is heartbroken to give him up, but a workrelated relocation means their new apartment has strict size restrictions that Myles simply doesn’t meet. This is truly a situation of circumstance—not behavior. Myles is eager to find a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and joyful companion, he may be the perfect match. Apply to adopt Myles at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Myles' adoption fee is $450. Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Myles (AL) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you!RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2026, 1:49 am

Story
Her name is Curly! Gee, I wonder why. A 2-year-old, 40-pound Poodle mix, she was found by a good Samaritan who brought her to rescue. She was severely matted at the time, and she'll need to be groomed periodically. Otherwise? She's great! A jumper, she's a sweet, dog friendly girl (although she does not like cats!), who loves to play and absolutely adores her kennel mate. Just terrific! How about it? Wanna take this curly girl home with you? You won't regret it! (Posted 2/13/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **February 19, 2026, 2:45 pm
