It’s honestly heartbreaking a dog can be left in such horrible condition. But now Ruby’s past is far behind her. She didn’t just get a haircut, she got a whole new life. Swipe to the first photos. Yes, that’s Ruby. Lying there as the shelter team gently shaved away pounds of painful matting, giving her relief one careful clip at a time. And then look at her now. Safe, finally able to exhale in her foster home. Ruby is a 2.5 year old, approximately 37 pound Poodle who is spayed, fully vetted, and gaining healthy weight. What we have learned so far is that she is sweet, gentle, and incredibly calm. In her foster home, Ruby has shown just how special she is. She walks beautifully on leash with the cutest little trot, is both house and crate trained, and really thrives with a steady routine. She is affectionate in the softest way, always ready for belly rubs, and happiest simply relaxing near her people. She is still building confidence with new people and environments and getting used to loud or sudden noises. She may jump up to say hello when she is excited and will need slow, positive introductions with other dogs. Ruby does not ask for much. She loves peaceful walks, cozy naps, and being close to someone who cares for her. She may be a little unsure at first, but once she feels safe, she leans in for affection like she has been waiting for it her whole life. Her curls are starting to grow back, her body is getting stronger, and her glow up is going to be incredible. But the best part is not how she looks. It is how different her life is now. No more discomfort. No more being overlooked. Just safety, love, and a fresh start. I’ve adopted him a year ago. He’s 3 turning 4 this year. I’m moving unexpectedly and unfortunately I have to get rid him. He’s very fun and playful loves cuddles extremely intelligent and learns things very fast. Best with an owner who has experience in owning dogs and proper training. He’s a bit anxious and reactive but if you are firm he’s yours! Not neutered, great with dogs and cats, but he’s afraid of kids and has bit one before. Despite his flaws he’s great addition for couples or individual. For a high energy breed he’s very chill and super silly! I’ll miss him! Can hold onto him until June, I’ll provide xl cage, treats, bowls, leashes, grooming

Ava is a 2 yr old beautiful Red Curly Mini Golden Doodle weighing 39 lbs. She has been fully vetted and is in a foster home with multiple dogs. She does rely on them to feel safe and comfortable. She is just learning to walk on a leash and really needs a safe secure fenced in yard as she is a flight risk. We are looking for a loving, kind gentle family with at least one other confident dog to make Ave's transition to her new home easier.
