Story
Meet Elsie Elsie is a beautiful 3-year-old Standard Poodle with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She came from a commercial breeding environment and is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Because of this, Elsie can be a little shy at first and will need a patient family willing to give her time to warm up and build trust. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really shines. Elsie is beginning to enjoy life with her foster family and is slowly gaining confidence every day. She especially loves running around the yard and stretching her legs outside, so a secure fenced yard is a must for her future home. Elsie does very well with grooming and handling and has been wonderful for treatments. As a Standard Poodle, she will require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. She is also really well with potty training. Regression is normal in transition. She will walk on a leash, but she is still nervous in new environments. Loud noises or sudden surprises can startle her, and she may pull when she gets scared. Because of this, she would do best with a family who understands shy dogs and can continue helping her feel safe and confident. Elsie enjoys having toys and soft blankets nearby for comfort, though she’s still learning how to fully play with them. She does well with calm, gentle dogs who help her feel safe. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations and is ready to find her forever family. Elsie is currently being fostered in York Haven, Pennsylvania. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, Elsie has so much potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal companion. She’s already showing her sweet heart . She just needs the right family to help her continue her journey. 🐩💕 Kennel license 9117 PO box 2372 Reading pa 19608

Story
Meet Jasper Jasper is a 7‑year‑old, 35‑lb Poodle who is learning what it means to be safe and loved. He was surrendered from a Lancaster breeder when he was no longer considered useful. Jasper is trying very hard to be brave. You can see it in the way he watches, the way he pauses, and the way he leans in just a little closer each day. While he’s still nervous, he is sweet and clearly wants to trust. He allows handling without issue and shows gentle signs that his heart is wide open, just waiting for the right person. Jasper is looking for a patient, compassionate home that will give him the time and reassurance he needs to fully come out of his shell. A calm environment, predictable routine, and loving humans will help this sensitive boy continue to grow in confidence. Jasper doesn’t ask for much, just kindness, understanding, and the chance to finally be someone’s beloved companion. In return, he promises quiet loyalty, soft affection, and a bond that will only deepen with time. He would need to meet any resident dogs. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4dx tested. He is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive a dental as the vet deems necessary. Story
We know—Waffles is fluffy, adorable, and absolutely capable of stealing your heart at first glance. But this little guy is looking for a very specific kind of home, and that’s okay. The right match will make all the difference for him. Waffles needs an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who understands that it’s their job to help him feel safe and secure—not Waffles’ job to protect his person. He does best with someone who uses patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence. Waffles can be protective of high-value items, so his ideal person understands the importance of trading up (think yummy swaps!) rather than taking things away. With the right approach, he bonds quickly and shows just how sweet he truly is. He would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with minimal comings and goings, where he can settle in and feel secure. Once he knows you’re his person, he’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. Waffles at a glance: Sweet boy who bonds quickly Prefers a calm, predictable environment Crate trained, house trained, and well-mannered in the home Rides well in the car Does well with other dogs Waffles isn’t looking for chaos—he’s looking for comfort, understanding, and someone willing to meet him where he is. In return, he’ll give you devotion, love, and a very special bond. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to be Waffles’ safe place, he may just be the perfect companion for you.
