Story
Sierra is our 5-year-old poodle and a very loved part of our family. She is sweet, loyal, playful, and very intelligent. She also has a goofy side and a big personality that will keep you smiling. Sierra loves being around people and truly bonds with her person whether she’s playing or just relaxing nearby. As we’ve gotten older, with health issues we’ve realized we can’t give her the level of exercise and attention she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision for us. We are looking for a loving, stable home where she will be treated like family and given the time, care, and activity she needs. Sierra is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and will come with her supplies. We want nothing more than to see her go to a home where she will be truly loved and well cared for.

Story
Meet Hallie! Hallie is a Labradoodle mix under 3 years old with a big smile and even bigger zest for life! This happy girl is full of energy and always ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or heading out for a walk, Hallie brings enthusiasm wherever she goes. Because she gets so excited (life is just that fun!), she may need a little work on leash manners to help her channel all that excitement in a more polished way. With consistency and positive training, she’ll catch on quickly. Hallie would do best in a home with older kids who can match her high energy and playful spirit. She can be dog selective, so proper introductions and a compatible canine friend (if any) will be important. A fenced yard is a must for Hallie so she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active companion who will keep you moving and smiling, Hallie might be your perfect match! Adoption donation is $395 cash, $420 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755 Another great reason to adopt from Greenmore...... Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! This blood test checks for diseases such as Lyme and Heartworm Disease that are transmitted to dogs from a tic or mosquito bite. If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Willow came from a shelter where she wasn’t doing well, but since moving into her foster home, she’s completely come out of her shell and is now LOVING life. She’s an absolute sweetheart who soaks up attention and is truly one of the kindest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. :) Willow also enjoys playing with other dogs and really shines in a social, active environment. Because of this, her ideal home must include another dog her size and a fenced yard where she can safely play, explore, and continue being her happiest self. :) REQUIREMENTS: Fenced Yard, Another dog her size Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Story
Stella is a 3.5-year-old, 45-pound dog whose life has been shaped by both deep love and repeated loss. None of it her fault. She was first surrendered to ACCT Philly due to seizures, placing her at risk with a time-stamped outcome. From there, she was rescued by Familiar Hearts Animal Society, given the care she needed, and finally adopted into a home of her own. For a while, Stella had what every dog deserves. But after nine months, she was returned. Again because of her seizures. And still, Stella remains exactly who she has always been :: a happy, gentle, deeply loving soul. She has a beautiful balance of energy, content to lounge by your side, yet quick to invite another dog into a playful game. She’s easy on leash, a wonderful walking companion, and adaptable to a variety of homes. Stella is especially tender with other animals, doing well with dogs and even cats, and she lights up around people, particularly children. Stella does have epilepsy, which means she will always experience seizures. Most are brief focal episodes lasting just seconds and don’t seem to interrupt her joy or engagement with life. Less frequently, she may have more significant seizures. She is on medication to help manage them, and her care team continues to learn what her “normal” looks like as her patterns evolve. What’s important to understand is this :: Stella is not a dog waiting to be fixed. She is a dog already living a full, connected, and joyful life. She is looking for a home that can meet her with steadiness and compassion. Someone who isn’t afraid of her diagnosis, but instead sees the extraordinary dog in front of them :: the one who keeps choosing joy, connection, and play, no matter how many times her world has changed. Stella has been let go more than once. She deserves this next home to be the one that holds. Apply to adopt her at https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoption-application. When approved, you can coordinate your meeting with her foster. Kennel License 18972
