If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Ollivander is a 4‑year‑old standard poodle — and likely has some Great Dane in him based on his impressive size — currently weighing 77 pounds and still considered a bit underweight. He was surrendered to us when his owner began experiencing health complications and could no longer care for him.Ollivander is currently being treated for heartworms, and he has a few more weeks left before that is finished up. If an adopter is willing to take him home before his treatment is finished, the remaining care will still be covered within his adoption fee. He has been very sweet with all of our staff and enjoys human companionship, though we have not yet found a compatible dog companion for him.He has been examined by our veterinary team and cleared for adoption. His adoption fee is $450.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionAdopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Ollivander, we’d be happy to help! He’s a big guy who’s so ready to start his new adventure!

Story
Meet Kincaid!Kincaid is a very friendly 2 year-old male poodle mix. He is neutered, current with all his vaccines and crate trained. He does take time to warm up to new people, but once he does his true personality shines through. He is great with kids of all ages. Kincaid needs another dog in the home, but he can be dog selective so slow appropriate introductions are a must. Unsure if Kincaid is house trained as his foster keeps a diaper on him when inside, and takes it off when he goes outside. Kincaid is looking for a warm and loving home, with someone or a family that is going to give hime lots of love. Kincaid would not do well in an apartment. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Hello, this is Marley! Marley was purchased from a breeder at 8-weeks old. Her mom was a pure breed Vizsla and the stud was a pure breed standard poodle both with papers. She’s been raised since a puppy with one owner, and been a fantastic member of our family. She loves to be lazy, great with kids, she’ll be as active as you want her to be or enjoys sunbathing on the patio. She is house-trained, very well behaved and has a very calm demeanor. She would be perfect for a young family or an older family looking for a loving and smiley companion. She was raised with her sister, Dakota, since she was a puppy and is great with other dogs. She would also love an open area to sprint and stretch her legs if you have it!

Story
Sonic is a bright, adventurous 5‑month‑old poodle/lab mix with sleek black fur and a touch of wiry texture that gives him a unique, expressive look. He currently weighs about 28 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium dog around 50 lbs.Sonic is naturally curious and eager to explore, but he’s also still developing his confidence. With new people, he may hesitate for a moment before deciding to approach — but he does go to greet them, and he warms up quickly once he feels safe. His blend of puppy enthusiasm and gentle caution makes him both endearing and easy to work with. He’s food‑motivated and smart, picking up new routines quickly. Sonic is learning crate training and can sleep through the night, though he’s still working on full housebreaking like any young pup. He’s also just beginning to learn how to walk on a leash and is progressing well with patient guidance.Sonic currently does not chase cats and seems comfortable around people of all ages. His affectionate nature, playful energy, and growing confidence make him a wonderful match for a family who enjoys an active, engaging companion and can continue helping him blossom. If you’re looking for a sweet, lively pup who brings joy, curiosity, and love into the home, Sonic may be the perfect addition to your family.
