Meet Kiwi!Kiwi is a 10 week old male Standard Poodle mix. Kiwi is from the Popsicle Flavor Puppy group and is now looking for his forever home. Kiwi came to Saving Hope after being rescued by a kind woman in rural Texas, who found Kiwi along with his mom and siblings after they were dumped on the side of the road. Kiwi is solid black just like most of his litter mates. Except he woke up one morning with Texas sized hair. However, with each passing day his fur seems to change in texture and color, so it is a mystery as to what his final coat will be. It appears that his snout is starting to lighten also. Kiwi is one of the big boys of the litter weighing in at 17Ibs right now. It is expected that he will be a medium size dog when fully grown. He is a pretty chill puppy and seems to have a the same sweet personality as his mom. He is also curious, happy, and very clumsy. He loves following and keeping up with his littermates. It will interesting to see how his personality develops when he is separated from the litter. Kiwi does great with children and obviously he loves being around other dogs.Kiwi still needs to be potty trained and taught how to walk on a leash. He recently had his 2nd round of puppy shots. He will need a 3rd round of shots and still needs to be neutered. Kiwi would love to find a home that includes other dogs, although with patience and care he should also do fine as the only dog in the home. It will just take him time to adjust to not being around his littermates and mom. Kiwi`s adopter needs to be willing to spend the time to complete his puppy training so he can grow into the best boy.
