Because this cat kept hanging out at our house, we tried to adopt this neighborhood stray, had him fixed and vaccinated. At first, our two domesticated cats didn’t mind his presence but after a while resentment became an issue. We believe that the stress with attempting to have all of the cats to cohabitate became too much of a problem especially with our rag doll cat who has developed a respiratory problem with asthma. We believe the cats are becoming more territorial is marking up the house with urine, fecal matter and scent spraying. An issue that was not present before the arrival of Blue. The stressful situation is also causing a serious issue with family members in the household and their relationships in trying to address this.

My wife and I got Zander through an adoption program at Petsmart. He is 12 years old. He is shy at first with new people but warms up quickly. He is loving, calm and likes to cuddle on the couch or in bed. We recently had our first child who has trouble being gentle with animals at such a young age. We feel Zander would be happier in an environment where he can be at peace with his surroundings which is why we are looking for a new permanent home for him. This sweet boy was born around September 2021 and is a calm, gentle cat who thrives in a peaceful home. He loves curling up next to you—especially if you have a blanket—and is happiest lounging nearby and keeping you company. He gets along great with other cats and would be an easy fit in a multi-cat home, but he’d also do wonderfully in a quiet, single-person household or a senior-friendly home where life isn’t too busy. He’s affectionate, mellow, and not demanding—just a comforting, loyal companion who enjoys soft spots and warm people. Two young women approached the AALOC front door and rang the doorbell. With only one team member working that afternoon handling all the animals’ needs she was unable to respond immediately. When no one answered quickly enough the two women left the box with five precious female kittens and drove away. We are currently maxed out on space but how can you turn your back on these sweet little babies that no one cares about? We named these adorable, female kittens after perfumes. If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know healthy cats smell delicious. They constantly groom themselves to keep their fur clean. Cats also use smell as their primary sense for identifying people and objects. Felines have over 200 million odor sensors in their nose. Compare this to humans who have a mere five million. Cats can smell more than 14 times better than we can so always be conscious of the smell of scented litter, candles or other items/people that might upset your cat. Besides, we think Estee, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Tabu are very upscale cats. And we know they all need and deserve great forever homes. Long time companion who has been with us for almost 15 years along with his brother, Mig. Need to re home as our lifestyle has changed. It is with great regret to have to re home him, but he deserves a life of enrichment and pats that our current environment can no longer provide. He is happy, sweet, loving, and very talkative! He enjoys the company of people and sleeping on laps and in bed with his person. He is a bonded pair and we hope to re home both him and his brother to a kind and loving home. Nabi is an 8 year old female Korean shorthair cat. She is incredibly friendly and loves getting pets, and will come running up to you for cuddles at any opportunity. She is good with strangers, can adjust very quickly to new situations and will not be aggressive at all. Because of her shorthair breed, she will shed less than other cats typically would, which makes for an easier cleanup of fur around the house. She is litter trained, neutered and vaccinated. Her left eye is leaky sometimes, but there are no health concerns about this as she is perfectly healthy.
