Story
I attached photos of Olive and Sir Pounce. They are roughly 5 years old, with no medical issues. They're rather sweet to be honest, just skittish. My brother raised them from kittens, but with his current health status, he's been removed from his apartment and the cats are temporarily living in my elderly parents garage, which is not ideal for adult cats. They're spayed/neutered with shots mostly up to date I believe. I would love nothing more to than to rehome them as that will be in their best interest. They do not need to be kept together if there's a concern there.

Story
This cat is special. My aunt, who has an intellectual disability found him as a kitten and she would feed him. Shortly after, her mother passed away, my mother took her into her house. She took the cat with her to my mother’s home. The cat was scared of everyone, but her. So, my aunt kept it outside and every morning and evening the kitten and then cat would come to eat. For 11 years he showed up and nothing ever happened to this cat. He would be friendly with her and wait at the door, but scared of everyone else. Now, my mother passed away last September, and in February, I decided it was best to sell the house. In the meantime, my aunts inside cat passed away and a family member got her another kitten. The house sold and my aunt went to live with her brother earlier this month. He would not allow her to take the outside cat. Plus, the cat is so used to this house and neighborhood. He needs to be an inside cat. He is now being boarded at my vet. Bathed, vaccines, and labs. He needs luv

Story
Two young women approached the AALOC front door and rang the doorbell. With only one team member working that afternoon handling all the animals’ needs she was unable to respond immediately. When no one answered quickly enough the two women left the box with five precious female kittens and drove away. We are currently maxed out on space but how can you turn your back on these sweet little babies that no one cares about? We named these adorable, female kittens after perfumes. If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know healthy cats smell delicious. They constantly groom themselves to keep their fur clean. Cats also use smell as their primary sense for identifying people and objects. Felines have over 200 million odor sensors in their nose. Compare this to humans who have a mere five million. Cats can smell more than 14 times better than we can so always be conscious of the smell of scented litter, candles or other items/people that might upset your cat. Besides, we think Estee, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Tabu are very upscale cats. And we know they all need and deserve great forever homes. Please apply to adopt Prada (and one or more of her siblings if you can!) at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Prada and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story
Late in the evening a man brought a box of four five-week-old kittens to AALOC. He said they were from the Norm Reeves Honda parking lot. Employees had been monitoring them and noticed the momma cat had not come back for hours so the concerned man brought them to AALOC. They were taken to the vet to be checked out and boarded for the night. An amazing volunteer foster picked them up the next day. Four days later there was a knock on the door at the AALOC humane center. It was the wife of the man who originally brought the four kittens. She had a fifth litter mate. This other kitten had been separated from the litter and alone for almost four days! We are so happy he survived on his own! He too was examined by our vet and then rejoined his litter mates with the compassionate foster caring for the group. We named the kittens after the Cheers TV show: There is Norm, Sam, Carla, Cliff and Frasier (the kitten that was found last). Norm, Sam, Cliff and Frasier are handsome male orange tabbies. Carla, the only female, is a brown and black mackerel tabby. Please apply to adopt Carla (and one or more of his siblings if you can!) at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Carla and get to know her a bit. Story
Radish is a 6mo orange tabby boy who’s looking for his forever home! He can be a bit shy at first but once he settles, he becomes a sweet, cuddly boy who always wants to be by your side. He’s quite the lapcat who loves to snuggle and will even let you hold him like a baby and kiss him on the forehead. He adores belly rubs and butt scritches too. He’s very silly and playful especially if you bring out some wand toys. Once the wand toy comes out, he’ll be flinging himself around the room at full speed to catch it. He’s also a big fan of catnip toys. Radish is a high energy kitten so he would do best with a feline friend to keep him entertained and tire him out. He loves all new cats pretty much immediately so if you already have a cat at home for him to play with, you’re all set! If you don’t, he’d love to be adopted with his brother Fennel.

Story
Pepper is a confident, spirited girl who has blossomed from a feisty little firecracker into a brave, adventurous sweetheart. She loves climbing, exploring new spaces, and supervising her humans with bright, observant eyes. Pepper would do well with adopters who appreciate a kitten with personality and a touch of sass.

Story
14 Beans was born with only half his back left leg, which is why he only has 14 of the typical 18 beans that the stock models come with. He does not consider this a loss. After having the other half of his leg amputated due to the bones being fused, Beans has been in sport mode and is thinking about adding a spoiler. Since his return, Beans has been celebrated for returning to full-time play with other cats in record time. Should his little guy stand underneath you for a pit stop, be sure to pet him and feel his motor purr.
