LEWY, LEWY, LEWY…this is what I hear. I have a tendency to be real snoopy and get into things. But when I look up with my cute face, who can be mad at me? I know how to work it to stay out of trouble. Well I guess I'm saying I will hug you because I am a hugger to say sorry. I like people and the attention I can get. Let me tell you, I am real good at taking a nap on the sofa with a fuzzy blanket. But do not let my sweetness fool you, I am still a kitten and like to play with all kinds of toys. I also have been known to grab a sock and run with it. No one ever told me a sock was not a toy. For me anything can be a toy. How many toys are in your house? Nyx is a gorgeous 2-year-old calico with a tender heart and a quiet soul. She’s done an amazing job raising her two kittens and is now ready to find a patient, understanding family of her own. We don’t know her full story, but it’s possible Nyx was abused in her past. Because of that, she’s very cautious around people. She’s not a lap cat and prefers to keep her distance most of the time. When she does allow gentle head scratches, she may tremble or squint—signs of her learning that touch can be kind. She might hiss when scared, but she doesn’t mean any harm. Nyx needs someone special—someone willing to give her space, offer quiet reassurance, and even a little “forced love” to remind her that she’s safe and cared for.
