Story
I’ve had Boots for most of his life, nearly 6 years. I adopted him from a shelter when he was 9 months old after he “lost a fight with a bird” resulting in him losing an eye. He is very loyal, friendly and curious. I love him to death but unfortunately cannot continue to support his needs. I tell people that he has IBS because without his prescription diet he tends to throw up or have diarrhea. His adoption will come with at least one unopened bag of food + his prescription. He does have arthritis in his spine with the occasional flair up impacting his mobility. Additionally, I’ve struggled on and off with him marking/urinating outside of the litter box over several years that might be resolved in an only cat household. I have LOTS of medical records to handover. The adoption fee is strictly to ensure he goes to a good home and is negotiable.

Pepper is 12 years old. She is a recluse and likes to come out at night. She likes towers and fresh clean cold water. She would probably be fine with older kids/teenage age.

Story
Moe is a great cat. He has a great personality and is very cuddly. He loves carrying around his stuffed snake. Moe needs a home where they can give him more attention. Children tend to overwhelm him and sometimes he will scratch. He is also very jealous of other cats. We think he will be best in a home without other pets or children.

Story
This petite girl is one of a kind. She was outside and unwell until she found a kind stranger to help her (DOB ~6/1/25). He got her well and brought her to JCAPL. He knew she would go to a loving furever home. Rosie has 4 foster brothers and keeps up with them, often starting the shenanigans (you can see a large dog claw in her resting photos). Nothing stops her from romping and playing. She also races them to food and digs right in. The dogs in the house don't scare her in the least. She just lets them be dogs. And she doesn't forget her humans. When she's ready to snuggle, she'll jump on your lap, make some biscuits, and then nap with you. She also sits and watches TV. Some nights she'll sleep right next to you. Watch your heart, because she will steal it in an instant. She's a little girl with a huge spirit. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, or faxed to 919-300-5524. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. *** Thanks for thinking adoption! ***

Story
Cowboy is a very special boy! He is the absolute Perfect cat! He loves to play with his toys and snuggling in his beds for naps. Very vocal when hes hungry or wants attention. He is fully Vetted but tested Positive for FIV. He is a Very HEALTHY cat and has had NO issues and can still live as long or longer than any other cat!. He is also in with other negative fiv cats and does Great! He is a lover not a fighter.  I am looking a quiet home for Cowboy. He was use to being an outside cat and can take no chances he would get out in a new home and get lost!  He loves to sleep with me and throw his arm around my neck with his face laying on me. He is so very sweet and loves rubs! I will be very picky as to who gets him! It will have to be the Best fit for him ##2346140##
