We are searching for a very special home for Punkin, a sweet FIV-positive kitty who deserves the chance to finally relax and feel safe in a real home environment. Punkin is a gentle, quiet girl who would do best as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another calm FIV-positive cat. She is not aggressive in any way and is definitely not a fighter. Right now, Punkin spends most of her time in a large three-story kennel. Before that, she lived in her own room with another FIV+ cat. She eats well, keeps herself clean, and is healthy overall, but she is shy and withdrawn, and we know she would be much happier with someone patient and kind who could give her a peaceful home and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. For those unfamiliar with FIV: it is not spread through food bowls, water bowls, grooming or casual contact. It is generally transmitted only through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, and Punkin has never been that type of cat. Acorn was adopted as a kitten from a friend nearly 2 months old. She likes napping under safe spots, will play with string toys and purrs so much when brushed! She likes getting chin and neck scratches and lightly on her butt. She has a very mellow personality, likes laying on your lap getting pets and scratches. She needs a calm home where other animals don't mess with her or are too rough, so no dogs and preferably no cats. Unless they are very calm as well. I don't recommend kids as she is a bit delicate with her back legs. But she is very sweet and has a unique high-pitched purr!She is 6 years old and has arthritis in her hips, so she walks a bit stiffly but can jump up on short tables and couches just fine. She only eats wet food as she doesn't like to eat dry as often. She does need a bowl lifted up off the ground a little so she can eat. She struggles to eat when it's low to the floor due to her back legs.Please give her a loving home, she is a very good girl.

Burger is a chunky tabby. He loves to loaf around all day long. He's very nice to kids and people, but he doesn't get along with male cats. Not sure about dogs, but there might be issues there too. We initially took him in temporarily for a family member who was moving. But unfortunately they won't be able to take him back. We already have 4 cats, and he occasionally scuffles with one of them. He deserves a new home where he can loaf happily.

My daughter brought home a family of cats. Minerva is the last remaining cat because my daughter wanted to keep her. As always, life got in the way and we can’t keep her. Someone in the house is highly allergic and Minerva likes to be in your face and getting loves. She is a great cat and she loves hanging out with you.

Hi! My name is Mochi and I was found as a stray in the Skid Row area of Downtown Los Angeles. I walked right up to my rescuers and rubbed on their legs looking for a new home. I am by far one of the sweetest, most loving, gentle kitties you would ever meet. I am personality A++. I love pets, snuggle time, and love my cat tree. I will follow you everywhere like a pup. I also LOVE toys, especially wand toys & laser pointer. I will talk to you and respond as you talk to me. I'm a little chatter box. I also make "biscuits" while you talk to me which makes me look like I'm doing little pitter patters with my paws. I really enjoy being brushed and having my tummy rubbed. I also get "excited tail" when I see you. My tail will totally vibrate! I get along with other friendly cats with a proper slow introduction. I prefer kitties that are respectful of my space. I have not been tested with dogs but would probably do best without them. BIG NOTE: Mochi is known to pee on things left on the floor (towels, cat beds, blankets, etc). Potential adopters need to be aware and take conscious steps to keep things off the floor and protect furniture,etc. She otherwise does great! We looking to rehome our sweet Feebee, who will be a year old on June 27th. She has been in a household with two 7 year old and I think she would be happier and less stressed in a kid and pet free home. She is not one to cuddle on your lap but she will want to be where you are. She is a climber and likes to be up high. She likes to be petted but can become overstimulated and bite. She loves getting treats, sitting on the window sill (but she will climb up the screen) laying in a sunny spot and playing with toys.We are hoping to find her a quiet home with someone who will be able to give her the patience, understanding and most of all is love she deserves. She has been a strictly indoors cat and ask that she stays that way. I think she would love a cattio, if that's a possibility. I know she will make a wonderful companion for someone and we just want her be happy.She is currently on Prozac for cats and seems to be adjusting well. She seems to have mellowed out and not so aggressive.
