We are searching for a very special home for Punkin, a sweet FIV-positive kitty who deserves the chance to finally relax and feel safe in a real home environment. Punkin is a gentle, quiet girl who would do best as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another calm FIV-positive cat. She is not aggressive in any way and is definitely not a fighter. Right now, Punkin spends most of her time in a large three-story kennel. Before that, she lived in her own room with another FIV+ cat. She eats well, keeps herself clean, and is healthy overall, but she is shy and withdrawn, and we know she would be much happier with someone patient and kind who could give her a peaceful home and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. For those unfamiliar with FIV: it is not spread through food bowls, water bowls, grooming or casual contact. It is generally transmitted only through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, and Punkin has never been that type of cat. Thor is a 4 year old absolute sweetheart who would prefer a one or two cat household as he prefers to be alone most of the time and sleep. He is a big ol lazy man who loves lap cuddles but is also very independent.

Flash is a 1 1/2 year old female, spayed, up to date on all shots, gets monthly topical flea treatment. Her mother was adopted out by Portland OHS last year. They would not take Flash, she hadn't been spayed yet and was still more feral than tame. We had Salem OHS spay her, she has calmed way down. She loves lots of attention, when I go out to feed her she tries to come in the house but I can't let her in because of our other 4 cats. We live in a senior mobile home park that doesn't allow outside loose animals. Our cats are bothered by Flash hanging around under the windows, on our cars, she gets on the fence and the roof. She wants to be friends with the cats but ours don't like it. She is very sweet, does get a little overstimulated when we're petting here and hanging out with her, she will try to reach out to say "don't go away, stay and pet me". She still has some feral in her, is comfortable around us but runs when others come by. She needs a place before cold weather comes.

Texas loves to be outside, so it is important the home she goes to allows her that freedom. In fact, we do not need a litter box for her. She is very vocal. She likes to socialize and talk with neighbors. She gets along with dogs better than other cats. She tolerates other cats. She is great with kids. She was a rescue cat, so I'm not sure how old she actually is. I think about 8.

Luffy was adopted from the Sherwood shelter 2 years ago. I’m currently looking to rehome home because I can’t fully take care due to pregnancy and or take care of him. Luffy loves to play and loves his scratches.

Lilo was adopted from pet smart approximately a year ago . I will have an infant in the next week or two and won’t be able to take care of her as much as I want to . Lilo is very loving and loves to cuddle .

Ty loves to follow you around, and when you stand still he'll chase his tail next to you. He's low energy and low maintenance, loves to sit with you, and loves to cuddle when you sleep. He has a toy shaped like a Christmas present he goes crazy for and will bring it to you to play with. Very food motivated but won't demand. He'll chirp and mew in greeting and asking for pets. Does not yowl. Ty would do best in a calm house with one or two people, but he has lived with dogs and kids and done very well. He just cannot live with another cat, as it causes anxiety for him. Litter trained, was trained to not beg for human food, never scratches at furniture or screens. Up to date on vaccines. Has a history of urinary crystals which is kept in check with prescription diet (one 17lb bag will last several months). Is microchipped. His only special needs are the prescription food and patience, he's skittish but loving and loyal.

Meow I am O’Malley. I found myself abandoned on a farm outside of Salem eight weeks ago. My foster family took me to the vet ,got me fixed, and got my first set of vaccinations plus a dewormer and flea and treatment. So now I’m feeling a lot better and I am healthy. I like other cats. The dog makes me nervous and I don’t really notice the chickens. I am FRIENDLY! I love scratches on my itchy body and I love attention. The resident cats on this farm are not open to a newcomer so I need to find a forever home.
