Story
Introducing my lady Piggy who is looking for her forever home along with her sister Tigger. Both were born on my property and have been cared for by me since birth. They are very loving and friendly but can be shy with new people. They enjoy sleeping on my bed and will jump up on my lap when I am lounging. They like to give me affectionate little headbuts and enjoy being around people. They have been raised with three small dogs. Both have been spayed and have their initial kitten shots. They still need their FVRCP booster and will need their 3 year rabies shot in one year. I am looking to rehome them together as indoor/outdoor cats for a total of $50.00. They are kitty box trained and have good house manners, including using a scratching post. They are two years old and healthy.

Story
Hello, this is Lily. She is a fully grown, 6 year old grey/brown tabby. Shes small in person, maybe around 7-9LBs in weight. She was from a litter of only two but her brother passed a year ago so she’s in need of lots of love and attention. She loves to be in peoples laps to cuddle but not a fan of being picked up all the time. She loves a good tall cat tree though! She’s been around small dogs and doesn’t mind them if they are calm. Still not sure about cats, she’s been introduced to a few but didn’t like to be around them. Has never shown aggression towards people or another animal other than a big dog. Lily needs a home with someone who can spend lots of time with her. She is a true sweetheart who’s very cute and just needs somewhere quiet and loving.

My family gave her to me, but I have other cats so it’s too much for me right now. She’s very sweet and loves to be petted and cuddle.

Story
I adopted Rosie, formally named, RAY. from a lady on next-door on January 16th. I thought this would be a welcomed addition in my home for my 7-year-old male Tuxedo cat. This combination has not worked out for us. These two do not want to like each other. Rosie is a very sweet girl that will be two years old in May. She is very playful, affectionate and social with me but refuses to have a relationship with my other cat. This is causing a lot of stress beyond what we can all handle. I must rehome her and ask that she be your one and only fur baby. No adoption fee required, I only ask for a loving owner.

Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The adoption fee insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

These pups are in Independence, Oregon too!

Story
Ozzie is a very shy and quiet cat that loves to be loved, and would likely do best in a one animal home where he can get all the attention without having to compete with other pets for affection. He’s particularly about clean litter and would like to have his litter cleaned daily. He’s always been an indoor cat and would not likely do well outside at all. His main issue is that he will spray furniture and clothes (if left out), but this is a lot better if his litter is kept clean. I am hopeful that if he is the only pet in the household that he would be less inclined to spray, since he hopefully would not feel the need to mark territory.
