Story
We are searching for a very special home for Punkin, a sweet FIV-positive kitty who deserves the chance to finally relax and feel safe in a real home environment. Punkin is a gentle, quiet girl who would do best as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another calm FIV-positive cat. She is not aggressive in any way and is definitely not a fighter. Right now, Punkin spends most of her time in a large three-story kennel. Before that, she lived in her own room with another FIV+ cat. She eats well, keeps herself clean, and is healthy overall, but she is shy and withdrawn, and we know she would be much happier with someone patient and kind who could give her a peaceful home and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. For those unfamiliar with FIV: it is not spread through food bowls, water bowls, grooming or casual contact. It is generally transmitted only through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, and Punkin has never been that type of cat. Sometimes the cats who need the biggest chance turn out to be the most rewarding companions. Please call or text foster mom, Penny 503-851-5377

Story
Reeses is a sweet cat who just wants to be loved. She is shy at first but eventually will come out of her shell and follow her favorite person around. Unfortunately, she has been bullied by our other female cat, which has caused her a lot of stress. She gets along well with our Labrador and will lounge with him time to time. She is litter box trained and prefers to stay indoors, though she will venture outside from time to time. She is approximately 5 years old and petite. We are hoping to find her a forever home with a loving family who will give her the attention and care she deserves.

Story
Burger is a chunky tabby. He loves to loaf around all day long. He's very nice to kids and people, but he doesn't get along with male cats. Not sure about dogs, but there might be issues there too. We initially took him in temporarily for a family member who was moving. But unfortunately they won't be able to take him back. We already had 4 cats, and he occasionally scuffles with one of them. He deserves a new home where he can loaf happily.

Story
Niko is a quiet, Zen kitty cat. He is 14 years old, so he likes his naps. He loves getting scratched on his head, cheeks, and chin. He is shy, but will roll over asking to be petted. He loves to chase your hand under the sheet, and swat at the cat dancer. He doesn't jump as high as he used to, but he still likes to jump for it.Since he's 14 years old, he's not high energy. He's used to a relatively quiet environment, so I think he would probably do best without other pets around, although he did live with another cat for 13 years. I'm hoping to find someone who will love and care for him In his senior years. I wish it could be me, but my situation is impossible. I know he will provide comfort to someone out there. He's a beautiful, sweet kitty. 🧡

Story
Hazel is a beautiful girl.We have had her for about eight years. She is approximately 10 years old.She is diabetic. We give her a medicine for diabetes that is a chewable tablet. It is a prescription only, and whoever adopts her will need to continue this medication. We crush it and put it on top of her wet food daily. She loves it!The only reason we are seeking a new adoptee is that we have two boy cats that continually beat up on her.We are seeking a new family that will give her their undivided attention and care. She would do best as the only cat in the house. She might do fine with another female cat. She is extremely healthy besides her diabetes, which is well controlled. Adoption fee to be determined, meeting the family or person that would like to adopt her. We just want a good fit for her.
