We adopted Zaylen through Adopt-A-Pet last summer. He goes potty outside in his litterbox or in the grass. Or he will use a litterbox indoors. He is very loving and affectionate. He uses a dog door to go in and out of the house. He does great with dry food but he gets wet food as treat every few days. I am moving and cannot take him with me. We adopted Kitty from the Dallas Animal shelter at the beginning of August 2026. He is 3 years old and up to date on everything. He is very sweet, cuddly, curious, and had a lot of love to give! He is house trained and only has gone in the litter box. He can eat kibble or canned food, I’ve been doing both to help him put on weight. He was brought to the shelter as a stray, so he is best in a house without a dog. I have been keeping my dog and him on supervised visits only and then keep my house divided in two for them. Kitty just hadn’t lost instincts from his time as a stray and sadly likes to hunt my dog who doesn’t like it. It’s just too much for ny situation, but he is well behaved. Has never hissed at me or my husband. In early days of having him, he demonstrated bite control and does not break skin when he got spooked and grabbed at my leg. And again when he didn’t want me to leave his side of the house. He is very sweet and just wants to be loved!!! I’m sad to be saying goodbye

Story

Stewart was found living alone in a semi truck at a storage facility so I took him in. He is very playful, affectionate, and vocal. He would do best in a a home with other playful or young cats but doesn’t do well with older calmer cats. He’s super cute but I already have several cats and am unable to keep him long term. He has been neutered and received his rabies shot. Please let me know if you would like to meet him and be his forever home!

Tigra was a porch kitty at my building that everyojne was taking care of until last Thanksgiving. A kitten she was hainging out with (I think she was the mother) was hit by as car in our parking lot. While I was getting him ready for the city to come pick up, Tigra never left my side. She followed me into my apartment and didn't leave at all for three days. After that, she would go outside during the day and come in with me when I returned from work every day. Tigra had a litter of four kittens, none of them survived, early this year, then had another litter of four August 13th. All four have survived, thrived, and will be ready for new homes in about two weeks. Since Tigra's new litter was born, she has had no interest in going outside anymore. She uses the litter box with no issues and eats Pet Pride wet and dry food from Kroger. I'm moving at the end of the month and will not be able to take her with me. She has become such a good house kitty, I don't want to put her outside again.

I've had beans for 6 years. He's a sweet loving cat always wants to cuddle and be constantly petted. Very talkative when he wants something. Good with kids and loves belly rubs. I found beans and 3 of his siblings outside under a car and it was wet and cold and they were all alone. I still have beans and his twin brother pinto. One got adopted out and one passed away 4 years ago I'm looking for a good family for bean and pinto his twin brother you can see in pic he's also looking for a home. Both sweet as can be. Giving away; no fee let me know. Just to many cats I have 5 in total with pinto and beans included. I also just had my baby shes 1 month old and i lost my job before having her that money had been real short. Almost lost my home last month and still figuring things out for this month. Please help me i love my babies i really dont want to put them in a shelter and think they get put down for not being adopted.

I got my pet at an animal shelter; he was about weeks old at the time. During that period, he was with my sister often while she was on maternity leave, however once the baby got here, he started to act out a bit due to the shifts in attention. That, along with my allergies is the main reasons we unfortunately have to rehome. Figgy is vocal, lots of personality, and playful. He likes to be outside and loves lounging in the cat tower.
