Story
Meet Panda! Panda is a lovable and huggable tabby. She a big girl so there is more of her to love and she has lots of love to give. She is a little shy, but once she gets to know you, she is sweet and loves human companionship. She enjoys pets and cuddles. She can also be nudged into playing a bit. In her foster home, she is indifferent toward the other cats. She will likely do well in a home with another friendly kitty. She would also likely do well as an only kitty getting all the attention. If you are looking for a pair, several of her kittens are also available for adoption. Panda was a neighborhood kitty that was brought to TPP by a concerned neighbor just days before she had kittens. Once she enjoyed the finer points of being an indoor kitty, she had no desire to return to being a neighborhood kitty - she is not even interested in exploring the catio at her foster home. DOB: 07/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Meet Ellie! Ellie is a beautiful Torbie with amazing orange and tan highlands. She has the sweet face and the kindest eyes. Ellie is an amazing and sweeet kitty. She loves to spend time with her foster family. She enjoys lots of pets and being brushed. She will sit next to you or in your lap enjoying all the attention. Ellie is looking for a home where she can spend her day sunning by the window and cuddling on the couch. Ellie appeared one day at our warehouse looking for food. We could tell that she was going to have kittens anytime. Not wanting the kittens to be born in the storm drain, we spent hours attempting to trap her. Two days before the kittens were born, we were finally successful. Once indoors Ellie completely relaxed and immediately wanted nothing but affection. Ellie is an excellent mom and an amazing cat. She is ready for a home of her own. DOB; estimated 1 to 2 years old ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Meet Elise! Elise is a sweet red tabby with stunning gold eyes. Elise is a playful and curious kitten. She loves to climb to the top of the cat tree and run back down. She is the first to play with new toys and explore. She enjoys cat treats, wand toys and feathers. When she is not busy playing, she is snuggling with her siblings for a good nap. Elise is young and energetic. She needs to be adopted into a home with another young playmate or with one of her siblings (Ellis, Elrond, Eloise) You can see more of Elise and his littermates on his foster's IG page https://www.instagram.com/mellys.fosters/ Elise's mom showed up at one of our fosters. Story
Meet Enola and Elenore! Enola and Elenore are the best tabby pair ever. They are mother/daughter duo. Enola is smaller and has darker spots on her grey coat. Elenore is a bigger girl, she is lighter with the most striking markings similar to a Bengal. These two can frequently be found sleeping in the same bed in the sweet cuddles. Enola frequently holds Elenore tight and baths her. Enola loves to be in on the action. She has a bed on the desk, so she doesn't miss out on any pets. She loves belly rubs and to be brush. If you don't brush her in the right spot, she will nudge the brush to the right place. She frequently greets visitors for pets. Elenore loves to be petted. She will get at waist level and nudge with head until she gets the pets she needs. She will follow you around to from room to room to make sure she doesn't miss out on any attention. They will both play with the laser pointer and feather toys if given the opportunity, but the reality is they would rather nap, gets pets or eat treats. Both love treats maybe a little to much. They have been in foster care for 2 years and are ready for a couch to call their own. Enola was recused from a storm drain in Waco when she was very pregnant. She had her kittens in foster care. Elenore has been in foster care since she was born. DOB: Enola 2021; Elenora 3/31/22 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. Story
Meet Indy! A bashful but beautiful approximately eight-year-old Domestic Short Hair from Norman, OK, whose tortoiseshell coat is as enchanting as her quietly curious soul. Indy’s journey started with a street-smart spirit—her clipped ear hints at her early days—but today, she’s a soft-hearted observer of the world from the comfort of a cozy windowsill. This petite eight-pound lady is the queen of birdwatching and squirrel surveillance, often seen chattering away with a mix of feline excitement and sass! She’s a big fan of the slow approach—give her a week or two, and you’ll find a sweet, affectionate side that reveals itself on her terms. And when she wants pets? Oh, she’ll let you know exactly when the scratchy service is required! Indy thrives on routine: dry food served all day with a delightful wet food dinner in the evening is her kind of fine dining. She's microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations—ready to step into a new loving home with all the grace of a seasoned housecat. She’s especially friendly with fellow felines and has a surprising fondness for dogs, too. In fact, once she’s comfortable, she can be quite the playful little whirlwind, chasing her tail or playfully darting around with her furry companions. Whether she’s perched in a sunny window, chirping at birds or soaking up a quiet evening in your company, Indy brings a sense of peace and simple joy to every space she graces. Her new family should be patient, kind, and ready to offer her the time she needs to feel secure. Once she settles in, you'll be rewarded with her soft meows, warm presence, and a daily show from the best seat in the house—right at the window! Are you the one to welcome Indy into your home and heart? To learn more or meet Indy, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com!

Story
Meet Ninja! A seven-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair from The Colony, TX, whose sleek black coat hides a heart full of love, opinions, and the most delightful vocal commentary you've ever heard. At a sturdy 17 pounds, Ninja is a gentle giant who knows exactly what he wants—whether it's a snack, a snuggle, or a prime window seat to keep tabs on the neighborhood birds. He’s got a playful streak that shows up when the wand toys come out or the scent of catnip fills the room, but he’s just as happy lounging like royalty and soaking up your affection. In fact, don’t be surprised if you wake up with him curled up beside you or even stretched out across your back, purring like a motor—his idea of a love letter! One of Ninja’s most endearing traits is his constant communication. This guy doesn’t meow—he converses. Whether he’s hungry, stuck in a room, or simply has a few things on his mind, Ninja will let you know in no uncertain terms. His expressive personality makes every day a little more lively and a lot more heartwarming. Ninja is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s healthy overall, though he has a tendency to eat a bit too quickly (which sometimes results in a little mess), so slow feeder bowls or meal pacing may help. He’s not one for feline roommates and should be the only cat in his new loving home, where he can reign as the king he truly is! His ideal family will be showering him with love, patience, and plenty of conversation. He needs a caring environment where his affectionate nature is cherished. Are you ready to welcome a big-hearted, talkative snugglebug into your life—and your lap? Ninja is waiting to tell you all about his day! Story
Meet Onyx! A charming almost fifteen-year-old grey and brown tabby Domestic Short Hair from Norman, OK, whose wise eyes and vocal personality make him a truly one-of-a-kind companion. Wrapped in a soft coat with striking white accents, Onyx is a gentle, medium-sized gentleman weighing in at 12 pounds. While his days of leaping onto counters are behind him, he still enjoys a bit of play—especially if a string toy is involved! Just don’t expect an all-out zoomie session; Onyx is a low-key kind of guy who prefers the cozy comforts of life. He’s a master communicator, known for his distinctive meows that tell you when he’s hungry, wants to go outside for a supervised stroll, or simply craves a little attention. He speaks fluent "cat," and he's not shy about sharing his thoughts! His favorite pastime? Curling up on your stomach, purring softly as you give him those head scratches he loves. It’s these peaceful, bonding moments that reveal Onyx's affectionate side. And although he may be slow to warm up to strangers, he’s incredibly loyal and loving once he knows you’re his person. Onyx enjoys a simple dining routine: dry food available throughout the day and a delicious wet food dinner in the evening—he’ll absolutely remind you when it’s time. He’s vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, making him a laid-back addition to a calm, caring home. He does well with dogs and tolerates feline friends, but he might prefer a home without small children. What makes Onyx so endearing is his old-soul spirit mixed with that unmistakable cattitude. He’s not a high-maintenance cat—he just needs a peaceful space, a kind heart, and someone who will listen when he speaks. Are you ready to welcome this wise, chatty companion into your life and let his purrs be the soundtrack to your quiet evenings? To learn more about adopting Onyx, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com!
