We adopted Kitty from the Dallas Animal shelter at the beginning of August 2026. He is 3 years old and up to date on everything. He is very sweet, cuddly, curious, and had a lot of love to give! He is house trained and only has gone in the litter box. He can eat kibble or canned food, I’ve been doing both to help him put on weight. He was brought to the shelter as a stray, so he is best in a house without a dog. I have been keeping my dog and him on supervised visits only and then keep my house divided in two for them. Kitty just hadn’t lost instincts from his time as a stray and sadly likes to hunt my dog who doesn’t like it. It’s just too much for ny situation, but he is well behaved. Has never hissed at me or my husband. In early days of having him, he demonstrated bite control and does not break skin when he got spooked and grabbed at my leg. And again when he didn’t want me to leave his side of the house. He is very sweet and just wants to be loved!!! I’m sad to be saying goodbye

Story

Stewart was found living alone in a semi truck at a storage facility so I took him in. He is very playful, affectionate, and vocal. He would do best in a a home with other playful or young cats but doesn’t do well with older calmer cats. He’s super cute but I already have several cats and am unable to keep him long term. He has been neutered and received his rabies shot. Please let me know if you would like to meet him and be his forever home!

Tigra was a porch kitty at my building that everyojne was taking care of until last Thanksgiving. A kitten she was hainging out with (I think she was the mother) was hit by as car in our parking lot. While I was getting him ready for the city to come pick up, Tigra never left my side. She followed me into my apartment and didn't leave at all for three days. After that, she would go outside during the day and come in with me when I returned from work every day. Tigra had a litter of four kittens, none of them survived, early this year, then had another litter of four August 13th. All four have survived, thrived, and will be ready for new homes in about two weeks. Since Tigra's new litter was born, she has had no interest in going outside anymore. She uses the litter box with no issues and eats Pet Pride wet and dry food from Kroger. I'm moving at the end of the month and will not be able to take her with me. She has become such a good house kitty, I don't want to put her outside again.

He would do well in a home with other cats, as he loves to play, bug them, or chase after them. Would be most compatible with other kittens or a younger cat rather than a senior cat. Currently he is about 9 months old and up to date on all shots, he is also neutered and microchipped.
