Story
Obi is a 5.5-year-old Border Collie Shepherd mix. He is up to date on vaccinations and neutered. He is kid and cat-friendly. He is kennel-trained. He would love a home where he is the only dog and he has a yard! Obi can be difficult on the leash which is why a yard would suit him best. He’s been through a lot over the years before we brought him into our family and he takes a bit of time to adjust but comes out of his shell wonderfully and loves to give all the kisses! We unfortunately had to move and our new apartment does not allow dogs his size. He is a true joy and sweetheart to have in our lives and we would love to see Obi go to a home that will cherish him as much as we have. If you or someone you know is interested in fostering or adopting Obi please call/text me at 720-314-7975. This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post. April 27, 2024, 5:11 pm

A Little About Me:-I`ve got a heart full of love and a spirit that`s playful as a pup. -I might be a bit shy when we first meet, but give me a moment. I`ll soon be cuddling up to you, my tail wagging with joy. I have a sweet nature that will make you smile. -I`m looking for a home where I can share my love and playful energy. What I`m looking for in a Home:-I`m a smart boy, and already know Sit, Down, Stay, Come! I could benefit from more socialization-Since I am on the shy side, I would love a home that know`s how to look out for me and ensure I feel safe and comfortable, especially around new people and places-I sure do love to run around, so an active home with older children and adults would be great

Hi, I'm Bella! I've got energy to spare and a heart full of love. I'm a bit shy at first, but give me a minute and you'll see just how affectionate I can be. My favorite things in the world are treats and my stuffed toy. I carry it everywhere! I'm great with older kids too. I love their energy and they seem to understand my quirks. Sometimes, I get a little scared, but with a bit of patience and a lot of love, I come out of my shell. I'm looking for a family who'll appreciate my zest for life and won't mind a few cuddles on the couch. Virtual training sessions are also included in my adoption! Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together!Longest stay pets like Bella are sponsored by The Wilhite Law Firm.April 27, 2024, 5:34 pm

Story
Poppy (fka Noelle) is a fun sweet energetic almost 8 mos old BC mix. Maybe with Lab, Heeler or Sighthound. She is about 34#, loves other dogs, was curious about but friendly with the foster cat, and loves to go on walkies and hiking. Poppy can be a little shy at first but it doesn't last long. Poppy is looking for an active home with another younger friendly dog to play with, a fenced in backyard to run around, and humans who are not gone long hours. She is learning some basic cues. She has not been tested with children but a respectful older child 10+ should be fine as she does jump some. She is a sweet puppy who likes to cuddle but also is ready to play at a moment’s notice. She does have a nice off switch when needed. She is crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps through the night if she potties right before bedtime. She may need a refresher in a new home with a new routine. If you are interested in meeting Poppy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Poppy is spayed, utd on vaccs, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.  April 25, 2024, 8:31 am

Story
Rosey hasn't been able to catch a break we hope finnally we can give her just that! She needed a savior she found herself picked up as a stray / wandering dog in San Antonio Texas. She was taken to a high kill shelter by animal control. She ended up getting pulled by a rescue nearly a year ago. She was dropped off at a boarding facility and abandoned by that rescue with 29 other dogs. The boarding facility was understaffed and under funded. The dogs in their care weren't getting what they needed and acs was recalled to pick them up. All 30 dogs including Rosey were going to be euthanized. Luckily we had the opportunity to help so we did just that. We saved Rosey and another dog named Jerry from meeting that unfortunate fate.   Rosey loves other dogs, she's good on a leash and adores children. She is mild energy. She would fit great with any life style.   ##2035409##

Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1868618##

Story
Ollie is such an amazing dog! He is an Australian Shepherd Mix and has lots of love to give. He is incredibly intelligent, has endless energy and loves playtime. He is very respectful of sleepy time and is very comforting when you’re feeling down because of his goofy personality. He is also wonderful with people and children, which is a big plus! Ollie needs a new home because I unfortunately cannot provide him the space he needs to run and play nor do I have time to give him enough mental stimulation. He spends entirely too much time alone indoors and has become male-aggressive over the past few months because he has so much pent up energy. He needs lots of love and patience by someone willing to give that to him and who has space for him to run about (he is NOT built for apartment complexes). Ollie could benefit greatly from a bit of behavioral training, but it is something I cannot afford alone. I am open to splitting costs to ensure he finds his new forever home! Other than this, he has NO other issues!! If interested, please let me know! I’d love to hear from ya. Thanks for looking! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Thankful for her second chance at life, 3-year-old Teeny Tiny is slowly learning to trust again. As she settles into her foster home, the sweet, shy and submissive 29-pound beauty now wags her tail at her foster mom, and the yearning look in her eyes clearly says, “pet me and love on me.” Moderately energetic, she enjoys going for walks, playing with and taking her soft toys outside and chewing on bones. Good with similar sized dogs and large ones, motivated by food and love, she accepts all treats gently, but currently knows no commands. Leash and crate trained and almost fully house-trained, Teeny Tiny is best suited to a tranquil home, perhaps with a canine companion, and especially patient adopters who will earn her trust, teach her her commands, and ultimately reap the benefits of watching her bloom.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
