He will be just at a year June/July 2024. He is truly a genuinely kind, affectionate, and loving dog. Loves children and other dogs so, so much. He is medium sized at about 53lbs. I found him on the side of the road when it was about 106° out. The original owners didn't want him back. My roommate wanted him but did not have the setup for him--- so I have had him. I have two older 5 year old female dogs. They get along great, but they don't match his energy. He would thrive with a young and/or active family with another active dog. He has had history of chewing when he is bored. I feel confident this would be alleviated with a better energy match. He is crated trained, house trained, and up to date on shots. Handles car rides well.

! Willie is a retired coon dog. He retired over two years ago when he ran off on the job and came to us instead. His owner was located but failed to return calls to claim him, so here he sits, waiting to meet you instead!!! He is pretty chill and quite the love. The lady dogs love Willie! He is kid friendly, but older and/or understanding kids would probably be best because this sweet old man prefers naps over fetch in the yard. He has not been tested with cats, but given his background of chasing small animals, we can say it would probably be best if he had a home with no cats. Willie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and current on prevention. **Seniors interested in adopting seniors** We know money can be tight so please contact us about special adoption rates. Hi this is Frida she is 9 years old. She is our family dog. My husband and I took her in because my parents are elderly, and no longer can take care of her. Unfortunately we live in an HOA, and they have a 2 pet limit. We tried to keep her as long as possible, but they found out about her. We already have 2 dachshunds so they said we have to rehome her. She’s been around dogs her entire life, and has never had issues with them. She is still very active and loves to play. She’s been around kids that are 6+ yrs old without issue.
