Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Molly is ~40-45 lbs and is about a year and a half old. She loves to play which makes sense based on her young age. She does not damage things (furniture, doors, etc.); instead, she likes to play with her toys. She is very loving and always ready to give hugs and kisses. She enjoys being outside and indoors. She has a good appetite (is fed AM and PM). Any visitor has received a warm welcome from Molly. I’ve seen her play tag and fetch outdoors with younger friends who have visited - maybe a younger family may be a better fit for her. She is well trained to go outside to relieve herself and uses a dog door like a pro. She is very smart and will sit in the den when her meals are being created. Her tail has a fun curl to it. They are guessing that I am a Black and Tan Hound mix, and I think I could have a little bit of Rottweiler mixed in. Can you imagine how scared she must have been? Having all those puppies on her own, and then caring for and protecting them! Dot is now in a loving foster home, and most of her puppies have been adopted. She is very cautious and shy at first, and it's easy to understand why. She's blossomed at her foster home and is learning how to be a beloved family pet. She is now free to play like the young dog she is, without the responsibililty of all her pups.
