Story
How lovely is Pearl? And she is just as sweet and loving as she is lovely! This 2 year old sweetheart is about 50 pounds. She's great with other dogs, loves all the nice humans of all ages, walks nicely on leash and is very calm in the car. She'll be a wonderful addition to any loving home. Apply to adopt today at www.cprdogs.com. Pearl is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Pearl is a gentle, easygoing girl with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy when first meeting new dogs, but give her just a few minutes and her sweet, friendly personality shines through. Pearl has worked hard and successfully learned to share her space and meals, showing just how smart and adaptable she is. She absolutely loves toys of all kinds and is always happy to entertain herself or play with her people. Pearl’s favorite pastime, though, is snuggling up close. Her laid-back personality makes her a wonderful companion for a calmer home looking for a loving, loyal best friend. Pearl is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Fiona needs a new foster or foster-to-adopt home. About three years old, Fiona came from a large hoarding situation. She is a shy, gentle girl who needs TLC and time to get comfortable in a home. Fiona loves other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. The activity level of small children would scare her, so an adult home or one with older children would be ideal. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard, and a family who has experience and patience. To foster or foster-to-adopt Fiona please fill out our application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/foster-application NOTE: Foster or foster-to-adopt families must be located within the state of Connecticut.

Story
🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough. He’s loyal, driven, and ready to be someone’s best adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who will truly be your partner in life, Atlas is your guy. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.forrescue.net Rescue: Friends of Rescue 💙

Story
Patty is ready for her forever home. She is almost 11 weeks old and will be spayed soon. She has had 2 rounds of vaccines and has been wormed several times. She was the biggest in her litter and weighed 23 pounds last week. Dad is thought to be a husky or husky mix and mom is a catahoula mix. Expect her to be a big, solid dog. Her coat is currently soft and fuzzy. It may stay that way or could change as she gets older. Without a doubt, she works her show stopping blue eyes. She has a sweet temperament and is out going but can be shy at first. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. Transport may be available to the right home. Apply at forrescue.net
