Story
This cutie is Mr. Bigs Park Avenue. He is currently 9 weeks old and weighs approximately 8 pounds. We think he may be a Beagle/Catahoula mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that he is an adorable, sweet puppy and is one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Mr. Big's playful personality here: https://youtu.be/oLREEt49_h8?si=ph0SVN5ruVQOJzyF Mr. Bigs is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He has gorgeous blue eyes and a shiny reddish brown coat. He loves to interact with his foster parents and play with his brother Cosmo and the other dog in his foster home. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Mr. Bigs is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Betsy Blue, the wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart you didn’t know you needed in your life. Betsy is about two years old, and while we can’t be certain since she’s a rescue, our best guess is that she’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix. With her one blue eye and one brown eye, her soft, floppy ears, and her gorgeous coloring, she’s as stunning as she is silly. At first, Betsy can be a little hesitant when meeting new people. She’ll do her signature “drive by bump” just to test you out before deciding you’re worthy of her wiggles. But once she warms up, you’ll see a whole new side of her — joyful, snorty, and downright hilarious. Her foster says she sounds like a piglet when she gets excited, and she’s been known to jump for joy when her favorite people walk into the room. Once you’re in Betsy’s inner circle, you’ll be greeted with wags, wiggles, and plenty of conversation because this girl is a talker. She has no problem letting you know exactly what she wants, exactly when she wants it. See just how loving and silly this girl can be in her video! https://youtu.be/s42gtTUfaQg?si=chzlVTRf8K1Stl5r Betsy is an active girl who loves her walks, and she’s an absolute dream on the leash. She’ll trot right beside you, checking in with sweet eye contact to make sure you’re enjoying yourself as much as she is. Back at home, she’s a toy enthusiast — her favorite playthings are actually small plush cat toys. She’ll toss them into the air, chase them around, and keep herself entertained with the tiniest of stuffies. She’s also a huge foodie, totally motivated by treats, which makes her not only fun but easy to train. Betsy has lived with other dogs in her foster home and, while she can be shy and a little unsure at first, she blossoms once she feels safe. With time and patience, she turns into a playful companion who enjoys running, chasing, and being chased. She’s also done well living with cats, she’s proven herself capable of settling in peacefully with them. She even wrestles with her feline foster siblings!! Dog-savvy cats are definitely the best fit! Because Betsy can be slow to open up to new people, she would do best with a family who understands the beauty of patience. She would thrive in a quieter home where she can truly decompress, gain confidence, and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. Older kids who can respect her space and let her come around on her own terms would be a great match for her. Once she trusts you, though, Betsy bonds hard. She’ll be your devoted best friend, your walking buddy, your toy-tossing partner, and your snuggly couch companion. Betsy Blue may take a little time to reveal her true self, but once she does, she’s nothing short of irresistible. She’s wiggly, silly, snorty, and incredibly loyal — the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day while reminding you just how special the bond between a rescue and their person can be. If you’re ready to give her the patience she deserves, Betsy is ready to give you her whole heart. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
**Now fostered in Portland, OR** Meet Endive Lettuce—the adorable little black floof. He’s 3 months old now and just starting to come into his own. One of his siblings took a DNA test, revealing this litter may be Catahoula, Pittie, and Husky mix! What a fun, adventurous combo! Endive is cautiously curious about the big, wide world. Everything is still so new—he’s learning what it means to be safe, loved, and snuggled, and it's the sweetest thing to witness. He may start off a little shy, taking it all in with wide eyes, but give him a minute and he’s exploring the world one crunchy leaf and oddly-shaped acorn at a time. Watching him toddle around outside, delighting in nature’s tiniest treasures, is genuinely hilarious. He loves playing with his siblings and really enjoys doing his own thing—independent little explorer that he is. But don’t be fooled—Endive is also a total cuddle bug. He fits perfectly in your lap (for now!) and when he climbs in for a snuggle, it's nearly impossible to say no. One of his favorite activities? Puppy cuddles, of course. And we’re not complaining! Watch Endive’s playful personality here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=257BSZiQrSY&feature=youtu.be Endive is playful, sweet, and soaking up everything like a little sponge. With every nap, play session, and cuddle, he’s growing into the confident pup he’s meant to be. He is already mastering his crate training, sleeping quietly at night, and he's making great progress on potty training. He can potty on command when taken outside. He's incredibly smart and food motivated, so he's a dream to train. Since he’s still a baby, Endive will need a family ready to embrace all the ups and downs of puppyhood—training, socialization, and routine are key. We require all adopters to commit to crate training from day one, which will help with potty training, managing energy, and raising a well-balanced adult dog. In return? You’ll get a lifetime of love, tail wags, and sloppy kisses from your new best friend. Ready to bring this silly sweetheart home? Apply today! Story
Meet Paisley — the whimsical, wiggly, wonder-pup who looks like someone mixed together a Catahoula, a GSD, and a sprinkle of pure sunshine. With her speckly little face, bright expressive eyebrows, and compact athletic body, she is basically a walking cartoon character… but in the cutest possible way. Paisley LOVES people. Like, full-body-wiggle, paws-wrapped-around-your-neck, “I have chosen you” kind of love. She gives real, honest-to-goodness dog hugs, and once she latches onto her favorite humans, she becomes the sweetest, snuggliest shadow you’ll ever meet. Kids? She thinks they’re tiny magical humans created specifically to pet her. She was gentle, soft, and silly around them—rolling onto her back like she was auditioning for “Cutest Noodle of the Year.” Watch Paisley in action here: https://youtu.be/fZ2RprBdCxI?si=91S3ctHjQrYqzvVj With dogs, Paisley is both adorable and just the tiniest bit dramatic (in the funniest way). She loves friendly, easygoing males who know how to mind their manners. She’ll do the “curious side-eye,” the “polite sniff,” and then the “ohhhh okay we’re friends” silly zoomies. Pushy dogs? Hard pass. Cats? Even harder pass. She says “those creatures are up to something.” Paisley is an adventure girlie through and through. Walks? YES. Sniffy field trips? DOUBLE YES. A yard to romp in and patrol like the spotted guardian of fun? Absolutely. Apartment living could be her jam with an active family. All she need is a family to adore, and she shines like a disco ball in the sun. And after she’s had her active, playful moments, she transforms into a certified cuddle goblin. She will drape herself across you, curl into your side, flop dramatically onto your lap, and nap in positions that defy both gravity and logic. It’s a talent. Paisley is gorgeous, goofy, affectionate, smart, and so ready to bring joy, chaos, and a whole lot of love to her forever home. If you want a dog with personality, charm, and world-class hugs… Paisley is your girl. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
