There’s just something about a Weimaraner that our FSDA team simply cannot resist 🩶🐾. Everyone meet Beau!! Beau is an almost five year old male silver Weimaraner who somehow managed to hold onto his puppy eye color and we are OBSESSED 😍. It has become pretty apparent to us that Beau has never known how to just be a Weimaraner, but we have loved to watch him come out of his shell since he’s been with us. He can be shy with other dogs at first and has not figured out how to play yet, but he warms up quickly. Beau is crate trained and house trained but could use some work on a leash. He had a nasty skin infection when we first got him, and while the infection was treated and has cleared up, his skin and fur are still in recovery mode so he does have some patchy fur. Beau is good with kids, but he has a very strong prey drive so cats and other prey type animals are a hard no for him. He’s a tall boy, and while he was much too thin when we got him, he’s put on some good weight and is about 77lbs now. Beau truly is the sweetest boy and we know he will flourish with the right family who is willing to continue teaching him how to Weim!! Beau is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and ready to go home! He is here with us at Camp FSDA in Parrish, Florida and his adoption fee is $400.
