Deena’s calm, happy spirit brings warmth and sunshine wherever she goes, making her a truly special companion. Her Story Deena, her mom, and her siblings were found abandoned near a hotel. Thanks to the incredible team at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, the entire family was brought to safety, and all the puppies were raised in a secure, loving environment. Surrounded by care and gentle guidance from dedicated volunteers, Deena blossomed into a confident, affectionate young pup who is now ready for a forever home. Personality & Training Deena loves playtime, cuddles, and exploring the world around her. She is smart, eager to please, and learns quickly. She walks beautifully on a leash and responds very well to positive reinforcement. With consistency and patience, she will continue to thrive and make a wonderful walking and adventure companion. Foster Update Deena is currently being fostered in midtown Manhattan, where the busy noise and traffic can feel overwhelming for her. She truly shines in calmer environments and especially enjoys peaceful walks in the park with her foster siblings. Her ideal home would be a quieter setting where she can feel relaxed and secure. Meet Jonas — a gentle, resilient 1.5-year-old, 35-lb sweetheart who’s looking for a loving home. Jonas is a truly special dog whose heart is overflowing with love. Despite being neglected and starved by the people who were supposed to care for him — left chained outside without compassion — Jonas never lost his sweetness. He just adores people, and his ability to trust and love after everything he endured is remarkable. A kind woman stepped in when she saw his condition and rescued him, bringing him to SOS El Arca Animal Rescue. There, Jonas received the medical care and slowly gained weight and strength. Today, Jonas is a grateful, affectionate companion. He follows his caretakers around, gently placing his head in their laps with those beautiful eyes that radiate tenderness and gratitude. We would love to find Jonas his forever home — or a foster-to-adopt home — in New York for our next transport on January 24th. His ticket is ready; he’s simply waiting for his person. Meet Muffin — a 6-month-old, 22-lb bundle of love, curiosity, and playful energy 💛 Muffin adores playing with other dogs, loves affection, and is happiest when being petted and showered with love. He truly is one of the sweetest little boys you could ask for. Muffin was found with his mom, who had given birth to a litter of seven puppies in a local park. A kind-hearted person brought the family to our partners at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where Muffin grew up safe, healthy, and well cared for. Thanks to the love of his caretakers, he’s now ready to find his forever home. Muffin has the opportunity to travel to New York in January, but only if we can secure an adopter or a foster-to-adopt home in time. He is a gentle, loving boy who will adapt beautifully to a new household. He’s eager to please, easy to guide, and full of joyful puppy charm. He enjoys the company of other dogs, is great with children, and is curious about cats — he’d happily try to make friends with them too. Muffin is crate trained and currently learning potty training. With continued guidance and a regular schedule, he is expected to do very well in his new home.
