Meet Muffin — a 6-month-old, 22-lb bundle of love, curiosity, and playful energy 💛 Muffin adores playing with other dogs, loves affection, and is happiest when being petted and showered with love. He truly is one of the sweetest little boys you could ask for. Muffin was found with his mom, who had given birth to a litter of seven puppies in a local park. A kind-hearted person brought the family to our partners at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where Muffin grew up safe, healthy, and well cared for. Thanks to the love of his caretakers, he’s now ready to find his forever home. Muffin has the opportunity to travel to New York in January, but only if we can secure an adopter or a foster-to-adopt home in time. He is a gentle, loving boy who will adapt beautifully to a new household. He’s eager to please, easy to guide, and full of joyful puppy charm. He enjoys the company of other dogs, is great with children, and is curious about cats — he’d happily try to make friends with them too. Muffin is crate trained and currently learning potty training. With continued guidance and a regular schedule, he is expected to do very well in his new home. As with all puppies, we recommend enrolling Muffin in a fun group puppy class to help him continue learning, build confidence, and make new friends. Zack’s journey began when he was found wandering along a busy road. Thankfully, a compassionate passerby stepped in and brought him to our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue. There, Zack was given the care and safety he needed to grow up healthy, happy, and secure. Now, he’s ready for the next chapter — a forever home of his own. Zack has the chance to travel to New York in January, but this can only happen if an adopter or foster-to-adopt family steps forward in time. He is adaptable, eager to learn, and gentle by nature, making him a great match for many different types of homes. Rubi loves exploring, meeting new people, and discovering everything life has to offer. She has a bright, joyful personality and a sweet spirit that makes everyone around her smile. Life didn’t start easily for Rubi and her siblings. Rubi, along with her brothers Ron, Rudy, and Rufus, was abandoned overnight in a box outside the shelter. They were wet, cold, and very hungry when they were found. Thankfully, our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, took them in and provided shelter, veterinary care, and lots of love. Since then, Rubi and her siblings have grown into beautiful, healthy puppies. Rubi will be 6 months old in April, which means she will be ready to travel to New York and start her new life with a loving family. She is an affectionate and playful puppy who will thrive in a home where she can continue learning, playing, and growing with her people. Story

Pach is a handsome young boy about 1 year old and weighs around 35 lbs. He has a gentle, sweet personality and a calm nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Pach gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with his kennel mates, but he also has a soft and affectionate side and loves quiet moments with people. Pach was rescued along with his siblings and their mom from a construction site where the Mayan Train railway was being built. The dogs were being fed by kind construction workers who reached out to our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue. Thanks to them, Pach and his family were brought to safety where they received veterinary care, testing, shelter, and lots of love. Pach can be a little shy when he first meets new people or is in a new environment, but once he feels safe his sweet personality begins to shine. He would do best with a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust and help him build confidence. Because he loves other dogs, Pach would likely do very well in a home with another friendly dog who can be his playmate and help him continue to learn and feel secure. He is a smart and well-mannered young dog who is crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. Pach is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and 4DX tested. He is also on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Simparica). At about 35 lbs, he is a great medium size for many homes and lifestyles.
