Meet Rudy Your New Best Friend!
If happiness had four paws and a wagging tail, it would be Rudy.
Rudy is a handsome 10-month-old, 35 lbs boy with a joyful personality, a playful spirit, and so much love to give.
He’s the kind of dog who greets every day with excitement, whether hes playing with his dog friends, exploring the neighborhood, or curling up beside his favorite people for cuddles.
Although Rudy is still young, he has a wonderfully balanced personality. He enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures, but hes not a high-energy puppy. After getting his exercise and having some fun, hes perfectly happy to relax, nap by your side, or simply enjoy being with his family. His moderate energy level makes him an easy companion for many different households.
Rudys life didn’t begin with the love every puppy deserves. He and his siblings—Ron, Rubi, and Rufus—were found abandoned overnight in a cardboard box outside a shelter. They were cold, hungry, and scared. Thankfully, our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, found them just in time and gave them the care, safety, and love they desperately needed.
Today, Rudy is everything a puppy should be—happy, healthy, affectionate, and ready for his forever home.
He is currently being fostered in New York by a loving couple with two dogs and two cats. Rudy settled in almost immediately and gets along beautifully with everyone. He even accompanies his foster family to work, where he happily meets other dogs and their owners. Everywhere he goes, Rudy wins people over with his sweet nature and friendly personality.
Rudy is affectionate without being demanding, playful without being overwhelming, and always eager to learn. He is smart, gentle, and loves being included in whatever his family is doing.
Expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, Rudy would make a wonderful companion for walks, weekend adventures, road trips, or cozy evenings at home. Whether you're an active family or simply looking for a loyal best friend, Rudy has the temperament to fit right in.
He is crate trained, house-trained, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, 4DX tested, and current on Simparica Trio for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
