Story
Saint is a four year old jack Russel who is energetic and wonderful. He is a very good family dog and is friendly and warm towards anyone. I adopted saint when he was about a year old from a co-worker who wasn't doing well and was looking to give him to a shelter. He has been the best thing to happen to me in a longtime. He is very loving dog who would brighten anyone who comes near him. Unfortunately my current situation has made it hard for me to give him the love and care he deserves. Saint loves people more than anyone. He is great with children as well. I would like for him to find home with a family that he can be a part of.

Story
Hi there I’m Nala,I am a mature, self-confident dog who would love to find a forever home. I live now with other dogs who I love to play with, cats who I respect and play with if they want to, and kids who like to pet me. I have not had much experience with toys, but I do love a good game of tug. I like to be active, but I am good to just chill out with you too. Nothing like an evening of cuddling with the family to make my day complete.I like car rides, I don’t get sick, and I stay calm. My foster says I make a great co-pilot. I am learning basic commands like sit and stay but I will need some work with that. I love to walk and when we do I stay close to my foster and walk at their pace. If it sounds like we would be a good fit, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Just waiting for you.NalaThis dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Meet Monty Age: 2 years Weight: 9kg Height: 33cm (shoulder height) Breed: Terrier mix Color: Black, Brown, and White Sex: Neutered Male   Rescue Story Monty was rescued from a high-risk city shelter just in time before euthanasia. He’s now safe and waiting for a forever home filled with love and fun! With People Monty is a total lovebug! He’s affectionate not only with people he knows but also with strangers, happily rubbing against them and allowing pets. He’s comfortable being picked up by placing arms under his belly, and sometimes even flops onto his back, asking for belly rubs — even with new people. He’s great with men and though he hasn’t met children under 13, his playful and cheeky personality suggests he’d thrive in a home with active kids. With Other Dogs Monty is super social and loves meeting other dogs — even strangers. He often approaches other dogs with enthusiasm and playfulness, sometimes a bit too eagerly. While he’s not afraid of larger dogs and remains confident even when scolded by them, his overly friendly nature can come off as pushy. He may clash occasionally with dogs that share his high energy or dislike physical closeness. He might react if provoked, so introductions to new dogs should be done with care. He’s best matched with dogs that enjoy his playful energy. With Cats Monty shows curiosity when he sees cats during walks but doesn’t fixate or pull excessively. He can be redirected easily and follows his handler’s lead. Cat testing is possible if needed. Energy Level Monty has slightly above-average energy. As long as he gets regular outdoor activities, he settles down well afterward and enjoys resting calmly. On Walks He’s an experienced walker — he doesn’t pull on the leash and follows his person well. He’s more interested in sniffing than walking in a straight line, so his walks often involve a lot of stop-and-go as he explores the world through his nose. Other Behavior Monty doesn’t guard food from humans, but he may growl if another dog approaches while he’s eating. However, he listens when corrected and doesn’t escalate if a person intervenes. He doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, but he dislikes confinement — if left in a kennel or enclosed area, he may bark. Families who plan to leave him alone may need to work on crate training. Monty also has some demand barking when he wants something, but he’s generally quiet when being transported in a kennel or car. Monty is full of personality and love. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, and sociable companion who brings both energy and affection into your life — Monty may just be your perfect match! Story
Meet Mori 2yrs | Spayed Female | Terrier Mix 4kg | 23cm | Brown/White Personality with People Mori is sweet and affectionate, though she can be a little shy at first. She tends to be cautious around strangers and may get startled by loud noises. However, she’s food-motivated and will take treats from new people. Once she builds trust, she allows petting and enjoys showing affection—she’ll even roll over and show her belly when she’s comfortable! Even with new people, she can be picked up gently without issue. Social with Dogs Mori enjoys the company of dogs her size and shows great social skills—she loves greeting both familiar and new dogs and invites them to play. She especially enjoys running around freely in open spaces and playfully chasing leaves With Cats Mori currently lives peacefully with a cat and shows little to no reaction when encountering cats or birds during walks. Energy Level She has a moderate energy level. Mori loves outdoor activities but also knows how to settle down and rest quietly afterward. ‍ Walking She gets excited for walks and may pull on the leash at first but generally follows her handler well. Other Behavior She sometimes barks when seeking attention but is well-behaved overall. Mori sleeps in a separate space without signs of separation anxiety. She’s nervous about getting into a car and needs to be carried in, but once inside, she’s calm, doesn’t get carsick, and waits patiently in her crate. She’s trained for both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty breaks. Rescue Story Mori was rescued from euthanasia at a city shelter. Apply to adopt through our website! Story
Meet Milk – A Gentle Soul with a Playful Heart • Name: Milk • Age: 6 months • Sex: Neutered Male • Breed: Terrier/Jindo Mix • Weight: 11 kg (24 lbs) • Height (Shoulder): 43 cm (17 in) • Neutered: Yes   Personality & Temperament Milk is a sweet, sensitive pup who is still learning to navigate the big world. In unfamiliar environments or when meeting new people, he tends to be cautious and may bark awkwardly as a way to express his nervousness. However, his trust builds quickly—especially if you have treats! Once he feels safe, he allows gentle petting and becomes a very affectionate companion. He may need a bit more time to adjust if placed alone in a brand-new space, as he’s grown up in a group of puppies and feels most at ease with familiar company. That said, Milk is curious, responsive, and eager to connect once given a little time and patience. When in a good mood, he will even approach people first and seek out affection. With Children Milk does well with children under 13, especially when they approach him gently and calmly. He may initially be startled by sudden movements or loud noises but adjusts quickly with repeated, positive interactions. Once comfortable, he is a sweet and loyal friend to kids. He can be carried by placing an arm under his belly and is comfortable being held or cuddled. With Other Dogs Milk is very dog-social and enjoys greeting and playing with other dogs. He is generally more comfortable with dogs of a similar or smaller size. He handles rough play well and enjoys active interaction, but will steer clear of overly hyper or pushy dogs. He doesn’t exhibit dominant behavior and is good at reading other dogs’ signals. Energy & Activity Milk is a young pup, so he has a playful spirit—especially outdoors. He enjoys short bursts of play with his peers and then returns to rest quietly in his spot. Indoors, he’s relatively calm for a puppy his age. He has moderate energy levels and would benefit from daily walks and consistent playtime to keep him happy and healthy. Walking & Leash Skills Milk is still gaining confidence on walks, especially in unfamiliar areas or when walking with new people. He may stop or hesitate, but he doesn’t pull and can be guided with gentle encouragement. He’s not reactive to cats or cars on walks and is more focused on his handler than on distractions. With consistency and positive reinforcement, his walking confidence is expected to improve quickly. With Cats Milk has shown no strong reaction to cats he’s seen outdoors. While he doesn’t seem particularly interested in them, a formal cat test can be arranged for homes with resident cats. Crate & Car Milk is calm in the crate during transport but experiences mild motion sickness. He cannot jump into the car by himself yet and still needs to be lifted in. With time and positive associations, this may improve. At Home • House-trained to go potty outdoors • No food/resource guarding toward humans or dogs • No separation anxiety, though he may feel a little uneasy initially if adopted alone (due to growing up in a group) Rescue Story Milk was born in a rural greenhouse where a stray mama dog gave birth to puppies. Sadly, the mother was driven away shortly after giving birth, leaving the newborns alone. The puppies were taken in and lovingly raised by a surrogate mother dog who had just given birth to her own litter. One of his siblings, Lia, has already found her forever home in Calgary. Now it’s Milk’s turn to find a loving family of his own. Ideal Home Milk would thrive in a calm, patient home that can offer structure, gentle guidance, and regular walks. He’d do well in a home with other friendly dogs but could also adapt as a solo pup if given time to adjust. First-time adopters are welcome—as long as they’re willing to go slow and help him build confidence in a new world.   Send in your application today through our website https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/ You can also check his post on Facebook(Link to Post) or Instagram(Link to Post) He can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers. Name: Mongmong Age: 4 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) Mix Color: Black, tan, and white Weight: 9.5 kg (20.9 lbs) Height (at shoulder): 32 cm (12.6 inches)   Mongmong is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves people — whether you’re a familiar friend or someone he’s just met, he’ll happily come over for pets and attention. He’s especially gentle with young children and is comfortable being picked up with arms under his belly. Once he warms up, he’ll even show you his belly! He’s curious about other dogs and will approach them to say hello, though he doesn’t typically engage in play. His reaction to cats hasn’t been observed. Mongmong has a moderate energy level and enjoys outdoor activities like walks but settles down calmly afterward. He’s well-behaved on leash, doesn’t pull, and follows his human companion nicely. He is not food-aggressive and is calm in a kennel or during car rides. Mongmong was found injured, likely from a car accident, and was at risk of euthanasia at a municipal shelter. After being rescued, Mongmong had one eye removed due to phthisis bulbi, a condition that caused his eye to shrink and lose function and had hernia surgery on 25.05.01-but he’s recovered beautifully and is now ready for a fresh start Mongmong is a brave little survivor with a heart full of love. He’s looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and loved — could that be with you?
