Story
Bruce has been my baby for four years and has been with me through my good and bad moments. He has been professionally trained since he was four months old. The reason I m looking for another home for him is because I now have a 6-month-old baby who takes up all the time I used to dedicate to him. There s no longer time for long walks, letting him play in the grass he loves so much, or taking him to his favorite park. He is a young dog with lots of energy who loves to play and go on walks. He s professionally trained with the E-collar system. He obeys commands and behavior instructions, he knows his place to go potty. His training is similar to military service dog training. I paid $900 for his first basic-intermediate training when he was 4 months old, and in 2025 his certified E-collar training cost $2,300. You will have a well-trained dog who knows how to behave. I have so much more to say about him, just message me!

Story
Kerfuffle is an 11-pound, 9-year-old Yorkie mix. Though he’s a bit scared and cautious right now, with patience and kindness, Kerfuffle will warm up to you on his own terms. Once he trusts you, this sweet little guy will keep your lap warm and your hands busy because he loves belly rubs. He’s also a great snuggler and will keep you entertained with his charming personality. Kerfuffle needs a patient and loving home that can give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. He does have his momments when he is nippy, so no young children for him. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $200 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org.  ##2253121##

This brave, tiny girl has had quite a journey, and now she is ready to find the loving forever family she deserves.  At just 7 months old, Kiwi is still a baby with so much personality yet to bloom. She’s friendly, curious, and eager to meet new friends — whether they’re dogs, cats, or human. Currently Being Fostered at the Aloft Hotel!  Kiwi is lucky enough to be part of the amazing Aloft Hotel foster program in downtown Orlando. The fantastic hotel staff take wonderful care of her — giving her:  Lots of love and hugs Daily walks Playtime and enrichment Plenty of treats Socialization with new people This program helps her stay confident, happy, and well-loved while she waits for her forever family. Yorkie Grooming — Important Care for Kiwi’s Coat  Yorkshire Terriers and Yorkie mixes often have fine, silky hair that requires consistent grooming. Anyone interested in Kiwi should be prepared for the following:  &#226&#156&#130&#239&#184&#143  Regular Professional Grooming  Yorkies typically need a grooming appointment every 6–8 weeks. This includes trimming, sanitary grooming, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Their hair grows continuously, similar to human hair.  Brushing at Home  To prevent tangles and mats, brushing several times a week is recommended — sometimes daily if her coat grows long. A soft slicker brush and detangling spray work well for their delicate hair.  Bathing   Bathing every 2–4 weeks keeps their coat healthy and shiny. Use gentle, hypoallergenic shampoo designed for sensitive skin.  &#239&#184&#143 Face & Eye Care  Yorkies are known for long facial hair that can irritate their eyes if not kept trimmed. Many owners choose to keep the face short or maintain a neat “top knot” to keep hair out of the eyes.  Why Grooming Matters  Consistent grooming:  Prevents painful mats Keeps their skin healthy Makes them more comfortable, especially in Florida heat Helps spot any skin, ear, or dental issues early Yorkie coats are beautiful — but they do require dedication. Kiwi will need a family ready to keep her coat clean, soft, and tangle-free.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2025, 8:34 am

These two tiny girls were lovingly surrendered to Pet Rescue By Judy when their owner realized she could no longer give them the care they deserved. Wanting only the best for them, she asked us to help find a family who could keep these sisters together — and that is our top priority.    A Bond That Can’t Be Broken  Ethel and Lucy have been by each other’s side their entire lives. They find comfort, confidence, and joy in one another, so they must be adopted as a pair. They play together, nap together, and rely on each other, making them the perfect ready-made duo for someone looking to add double the love to their home.  These sisters will reward you with double the devotion, double the cuddles, and double the joy.    About Ethel & Lucy  Bonded Yorkshire Terrier sisters Extremely sweet, gentle, and affectionate Loyal, people-loving, and enjoy being close to their humans Thrive in a calm, loving home Great size for someone wanting small, easy-to-handle pups Surrendered through no fault of their own — their owner wanted to ensure they could remain together and receive all the care and attention they deserve    Their Ideal Home   Ethel & Lucy would do best with: Home without cats  A family or individual who can give them lots of love and companionship Someone home often, since Yorkies tend to bond strongly and love being near their people A quieter home environment where they can feel safe and relaxed Adopters committed to caring for two small dogs — diet, grooming, and routine vet care included   12/6 Foster update: Girls had a great 1st night! They are both very sweet and have a lot of energy. They don’t bark a lot and are well-behaved. The girls are very food motivated, but they don’t beg- they just wait. They are very attached to each other and enjoy watchng the birds and taking walks (see pictures and video). They must have been trained-when they barked at the birds, I told them to stop and they did! As far as cats go, the girls chase my felines whenever they peek out of hiding, so a home without cats is needed. They are both energetic and curiouis, so an active home would be best. The girls will be heading to the vet for a checkup and a grooming appt. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2025, 9:58 am
