Born around  January 14, 2024 , Peanut is a 15.4-pound Yorkie mix who was literally rescued from a local sewer plant. While his past is a bit...  fragrant ... his future is looking bright, clean, and full of snacks. Personality:  Mostly muscle and "Big Dog" energy Vibe:  Social butterfly, leash-walking professional, and world-class fetch enthusiast. Special Skill:  Can navigate a sewer, but prefers your sofa. The "Nuance":  Peanut is a gentleman until dinner is served. He has some  serious food aggression  around other dogs. He basically believes he’s a Viking defending a feast, so he’ll need to be fed separately or live in a home where he doesn't have to worry about "roommates" eyeing his kibble.   Peanut is looking for a human who matches his high-octane energy. Meet Goldie! Goldie is a sweet, little Yorkie coming into our rescue who was saved from euthanasia. She is approximately 7 pounds and three years old. We don’t know what tragedy left her paralyzed, but she has no use of her two back legs. She will be going to the vet for x-rays and exams to see what we can figure out for long-term plan, but she gets along perfectly fine by scooting along the floor or does really great in her wheelchair. She is capable of peeing and pooping on her own, but she does not have control. She has adjusted very well to wearing a diaper and it’s truly not that difficult as she is such a little bitty girl. Would you consider opening up your heart in your home and adopting or fostering this sweet pup when she arrives at the rescue?
