Story
Mook is a tiny yorkie with a big heart, but he moves at his own pace. He’s not one to rush into affection—he needs someone patient who understands that trust must be earned, not demanded. He would thrive in a calm home without small children, and once he feels safe, his loyalty and love shine through, making every quiet moment with him feel truly special.

Story
Evie is a lovely little senior girl with lots of love to give. She was returned to Saver of Souls when her person passed away. She is calm and quiet and enjoys being pet and sitting in your lap. Evie will go outside to use the bathroom but will also use a puppy pad if one is available. She enjoys a walk but also likes to be out in the yard on nice days. She gets along well with dogs, cats and kids. She is very small so it's recommended that she lives with older children. Evie has a genetic condition called Blue Dilution Alopecia. This in no way affects her health or longevity. The fur that she has in unbelievably soft! Evie is everything you would want in a companion to love and who will love her family.

Story
For inquiries email bryan@compactcaninerescue.org Fee: $800 Location: Washington, DC Katie is new in rescue. She comes to us from the shelter in Suffolk. She had a microchip but the information was not current so she had to spend 10 days in the shelter. By her appearance, it would seem she has been stray or lived in horrible conditions for some time. Despite her intake condition (check out her photos), she has been very sweet. Katie is a 2 year old Yorkie mix (possible poodle or some other small dog with curly hair). She weighs about 9.5-10 pounds. We scooped her up from the shelter and took her straight to the ver for a sedated shave down, vaccines and her spay. We did not want to waste any time. She has been living in filth too long! She is beginning to feel better since she has been cleaned up. She is eating and sleeping well. Her potty manners are great so far. She is a sweet little girl who deserves much better in life and we intend to find the perfect home for her. She has healed from her spay and is ready for adoption. Story
*Courtesy Post* Baxter is not an Animal Aid Society Dog. He is not kenneled at Animal Aid Society. Please request more information by sending your name & phone number to contact@animalsidsociety.orgBaxter loves the outdoors. A stay at home person or someone who works from home is best fit. Baxter does wear a male wrap in the home if he is not taken outside regularly. His family can no longer give him the time and attention he needs. A fenced yard would be good for him to go outdoors often. He does bark for attention as little dogs often do, so an apartment may not be the best for him. No cats, he likes to chase! An adult only home is best for Baxter.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
